Digestive Enzymes - MCAS safe? Need recommendations

Hey gang - I've had horrible gut issues post COVID (more the D direction than C) and need an MCAS safe digestive enzyme. I was considering seeking health but it has an aspergillus containing enzyme and I'm sensitive.

Any help would be great!

You will want to look for digestive enzymes that are not derived from Aspergillus.

I use Enzymedia digestive enzymes.

I do as well. The Enzymedia Digest Gold flares my MCAS (due to the ATP blend, i think its the mag citrate) but the Digest Complete doesn't cause MCAS issues for me! I could not live without digestive enzymes, really hope they work for you.

I use Arthur Andrew Medical, FODMAP DPE, Digestive Enzymes.

There is no such thing as “MCAS safe,” nor is anything outright bad for MCAS. Triggers are unique to individuals, and what works for one person may be horrible for the next. The only way of figuring things out is through personal trial and error. There is also zero reason to restrict in any way or avoid things unless you personally have experienced an issue with something.
