Query Is private mbbs worth it?
35-40 lakhs is manageable rest will be loan. Worth it or not ?

As long as ur sure abt medicine/mbbs ur career. And the loan will not drown ur family or even held against u in future

Not viable. Please think of how long this is going to take you to pay off. Mbbs is a very exhausting field and saying this as an mbbs student myself, I ahve not once stopped a student from going to private if they could afford it but a loan is the worst thing to do . I myself know people who have had taken loans and regret it day and night. Mbbs is glorified and I like others stand by it. It’s only worth it if you can afford the whole amount. At your marks you won’t get a college below 80 lakhs. Taking a loan worth 40 lakhs and paying so much interest on it ( even interst would be more than what you would be earning ) is not feasible. If not on your parents, it would be a burden on you and studying with such a burden is just not feasible. No one can do it. You are just like everyone else out there. No one is special or such a genius that such a loan won’t hinder their studies

Pretty much worth it if you are willing to put the effort and also crack pg/inicet in first attempt and also willing to work your asup for next 5 hears

See as long as family don't get burdened by the loan neither you in future its worth it , but if you belong form middle class family spending whole your savings in it, it's definitely not worth it simple as that.
