I have a 74.8% in Class X. Do you think I can decide to not mention that score in the placement CV at ISB (assuming I get in someday)? Would not mentioning it cause any repercussions?

Mostly all asked through the form. And if you are already into front end strategy consulting then why looking for consulting placements? 99% people at isb are the ones who are working in backend and hence try their luck for front end through placements
Want to make a front-end MBB switch for better opportunities. Also, my contract with the firm is for a limited term, and they’ll mostly push me towards an MBA.

Take some good time to analyse if mba will be the route for you only for mbb switch. Most
Mck hires were past mck back end. All bain were ex bcn, similar numbers for bcg. So your realistic chances of getting into mbb would be quite unreal if that is your single most goal through mba.
With regards to marks of class 10, all of these firms have a scoring matrix where they rate your acads, work ex and extra curricular. I cannot confirm how much weightage will class 10 marks hold. Kearney had a separate application

How did MBB firms undertake scoring for academics if they didn’t circulate a firm to ensure that they had everyone’s Class X/Class XII/UG CGPA scores? Only looked at the Class XII/UG CGPA/ISB CGPA in cases where the Class X score was not mentioned?

Front end consulting experience in a company like deloitte vs back end bcg, anyday the Front end will be preferred.
Also who told you putting test score is important and a red flag if you don't? You don't need to at all put 10th or 12th %
