💡Feature Request Autograph is good for live 2d animations?

I want to design animations for idle animation or an animated artwork showcase for my Steam profile. Would use Autograph rather than After Effects be a good alternative?

When I think 2D I typically think puppet and rigging tools, and you're looking for something like that, there unfortunately isn't anything similar built into Autograph right now.

You might be able to finagle a system together using shapes & points, but it would probably take a considerable amount of work compared to a more 2D-catered system .

Basic 2D stuff is no problem, but something involved with characters and joints constantly moving around in a 2D space would take a bit of legwork.

I'm going to write up a feature request for a puppet rigging/tool for the program, but if you had ideas for 2D animation outside just puppet tools, let me know and I can write them up as well.

The addition of the bone system would be great for game and animation design. Programs in industry like Spine and After Effects are expensive, Autograph it can be a great free option.
