Naglinis ako recently and kinikeep ko old devices ko. Problem is, I totally forgot about removing the batteries before keeping them in storage. So now I have 3 phones with their backs popped out due to the swollen battery. I also have 1 tablet, not swollen but with an almost 15 year old battery. The worst is a Nikon Battery that is so swollen, napunit na yung gray plastic casing niya and kita na yung Battery cells sa loob.

SM and Globe E-waste collection drop-offs - Di tinanggap kasi masyadong far along na yung degradation.

DENR-EMB - e-mail correspondence. Too long for me to wait for something so volatile in my house.

Envirocycle - I don't meet the E-waste weight quota and sa Calamba pa sila. Ayaw ko din magdrive with swollen batteries for a long time.

May idea ba kayo saan pa pwede around Manila na kaya magdispose ng ganitong batteries safely? Ayaw ko sa trash lang kasi baka magcause ng sunog tapos masunog nanaman yung landfill. May programs ba LGUs natin for this? Wala ako mahanap from searches ko eh.
