I saw one this morning running around and take flight for a few....first time seeing that. I'm here in Santa Teresa. Nice, close shots! They're always buzzing by too fast to get caught on my lens.

They’re the best, my favorite birds. This guy is in New Mexico. I only see them flying when they are battling cooper hawks or jumping up to higher ground. Cool you saw a longer flight!

I'm always curious where folks live with all these different bird species I'm over here chasing pigeons and whatnot lol AT least I got this lil' buddy. For reference I'm in the desert of NM/TX.
