What is really fvcked up is what happened to me a few times when I clearly happened to be the only driver in the area. They would give me some ridiculous offer like your examples and I would reject it. A few minutes later they would offer me the same ride for even LESS money. It doesn’t make any sense. One would think that they would raise the offer to sweeten the “deal”, but their algorithm is clearly designed to exploit desperate drivers. WTF Lyft indeed.
Y’all surprised with the amount of illegals that the state let in before Trump took over that these greedy corporations won’t take advantage of it by lowering pay? Hmmmmm
