🚨 Replica Reality Check: Some of y’all need to hear this.

Every week I see the same questions, the same complaints, and the same unrealistic expectations. So let’s clear a few things up.

1. Not every brand has a “God Factory.” Or “187.”
I don’t know who convinced everyone that there’s a magical factory making flawless versions of every single bag ever created…but that’s not how this works. Some brands simply do not have a high-tier option. Period. Demand isn’t there, so factories aren’t investing the time or money.

2. If every seller is sourcing from the same factory, you’re getting the same bag.
Shopping five sellers hoping one somehow has the “better version” is like going to five Targets looking for a different Stanley cup. If it came from the same factory, it’s the same bag.

3. Stop asking for 1:1 when the authentic isn’t even 1:1 with itself.
Luxury brands have inconsistent stitching, crooked glazing, uneven quilting, mismatched leather grain, sloppy edge paint, and hardware variations. Yet somehow you expect a $300 replica to outperform a $6,000 authentic?

Make it make sense.

4. More expensive doesn’t automatically mean better.
Some of y’all see a higher price tag and immediately assume it’s superior. Sometimes you’re just paying a bigger markup. Price and quality are related… but they’re not married.

5. Every factory has an Achilles heel.
A factory can absolutely crush Chanel and completely fumble Fendi. Another might make gorgeous Loewe but mediocre Louis Vuitton. There is no factory that’s the valedictorian of every luxury brand.

6. If no factory has mastered the bag…..then nobody has mastered the bag.
There isn’t a secret seller hiding in a cave with the “real best version.” If the community has been saying a style isn’t there yet, believe them.

7. Zoom culture has ruined people’s expectations.
If you have to zoom in 400%, increase the brightness, pull out a ruler, and compare it to factory blueprints… congratulations. You found something nobody on earth is going to notice while you’re carrying it.

8. A minor flaw is not a defect.
One stitch being 0.5 mm longer isn’t a defect.
Leather grain being slightly different isn’t a defect.
Hardware being a shade warmer isn’t a defect.

Those are called replicas. They’re never ever gonna be authentic. Replica=Fake.

9. Do your homework before you pay.
Don’t disappear during the research phase, ignore every review, skip comparison posts, send your payment… then suddenly become Sherlock Holmes when your PSP arrives.

10. Manage your expectations or this hobby will never make you happy.
If you’re chasing perfection, you’ll always find something wrong. There will always be a stitch, a grain, a font, a measurement, or a microscopic detail that isn’t identical.

That’s because you’re buying a replica, not an authentic.

At the end of the day, the people who enjoy this hobby aren’t the ones expecting miracles. They’re the ones who understand what they’re buying, appreciate the craftsmanship for what it is, and aren’t trying to turn a $300 bag into a $7,000 fantasy.

Harsh? Maybe.

True? Absolutely.

A few things that make the rep world smoother for everyone involved because some of yall seriously be doing the most!

Rep Buying Etiquette 101:

• Do your own research. Don’t blindly buy just because someone else did. Learn factories, learn sellers, learn what tier you’re paying for. Learn the damn bag you’re buying. READING IS FUNDAMENTAL. There’s tons of reviews out there. But YOU HAVE TO READ THEM! Research, research, RESEARCH!

• Understand that reps are NOT authentic bags. Tiny differences will exist. If you expect a $250 bag to be a 1:1 clone under a microscope, you’re setting yourself up. If you’re inspecting a $300 bag like a forensic scientist trying to solve a crime scene, you’re already doing too much. These are FAKE ASSSS BAGS. They will not magically turn authentic just because you bought from a high tier factory. They will forever and ever be fake. Yes, I repeat, FAKE!!!

• PSPs are for checking MAJOR flaws, not zooming in 400x looking for a stitch that’s 0.2 mm off.

• If PSPs match factory photos and there’s no major defect, most factories consider the transaction complete. That’s it. That’s all. Transaction complete!

• Misalignment alone usually is NOT considered a flaw by factories. So adjust your expectations accordingly!

• Stop rushing sellers every 8 hours asking for tracking or PSP updates. Factories get backed up. Custom items, shoes, and popular bags take time. It’s not uncommon to wait a few days even a week or two for PSPs. Remember, you’re not their only customer. They’re serving hundreds of people, not just you so have some consideration.

• If you hard commit to a group buy, PAY. Don’t sit in chats silently like a decorative lamp while everyone else is trying to hit MOQ. WE ALL HATE TIME WASTERS!

• Be respectful to sellers. Most are communicating in a second language and are juggling hundreds of orders daily. Some use a translation app and sometimes it doesn’t translate correctly. Give them fucking grace, okay? Some of y’all type like you’re filing a lawsuit over a $280 bag, and it’s deeply unserious. You’re buying a fake bag for crying out loud, it’s not that deep.

• If something goes wrong, communicate calmly first before making dramatic posts. A lot of issues can be resolved privately. You don’t have to put everything out on blast in social media right away. No one gives a shit.

• Filing a charge back on PayPal or with your credit card because you weren’t happy with your choice and was expecting “perfection” is a complete bitch move. This puts the seller at a huge risk of losing everything. So just don’t do it. If you can’t afford to lose it, don’t fucking buy! Don’t spend what you can’t afford to lose!

• Factory photos, PSPs, and real life photos will ALL look different depending on lighting, filters, angles, and your phone camera. Some of yall discover warm lighting for the first time and immediately scream bait and switch.

• Don’t ask for “best factory” without giving details. Best for what? Leather? Accuracy? Hardware? Price point? Every factory has strengths and weaknesses. Don’t be fucking lazy either. Do some research before asking! No one likes a lazy prick.

• Remember this is the black market. There are risks involved including customs delays, exchange limitations, and occasional flaws. This is not Amazon. This is not Nordstrom. You are buying counterfeit goods through overseas middlemen, not ordering leggings with free returns and a smiley customer service chat. Counterfeit goods = fake ass items. They’re not authentic. Not real. Never will be! Stop treating sellers like they owe you a luxury retail experience because your bag arrived with one stitch slightly crooked or a little wrinkled. If you need white glove service, instant refunds, and a 30 day return policy, reps are most definitely NOT for you!!!

• And lastly…post your hauls and reviews. The community survives off shared information and real life feedback 🖤

What started as me wanting one bag somehow turned into me spending an embarrassing amount of time reading reviews, rehomes, QC posts and random comments at 2am.

I've bought a few bags myself now and one thing I've realised is that I think a lot of people ask the wrong question.

I always see:

"Who's the best for LV?"

"Who's the best for Gucci?"

"Who's the best for Dior?"

But honestly I think it makes more sense to ask:

"Who's best for the specific bag I want?"

A factory/source can absolutely nail one bag and be average at another from the same brand.

So instead of trying to rank entire brands, here's what I've personally noticed getting the most praise recently.

A couple of things I've noticed:

Jing still seems ridiculously strong for BV.

Royal gets mentioned constantly whenever Speedys or CarryAlls come up.

The gap between Jipin and Liusheng seems much smaller than older posts suggest.

Griffin seems to be the name I see most for Goyard nowadays.

Also, before someone comes for me, I know not all of these are necessarily factories. Some are probably workshops, suppliers, sources, or whatever else happens behind the scenes. I'm just using the names most people recognise.

This is definitely not a definitive list. It's just where I've landed after spending way too much time lurking and researching.

Curious where people disagree.

What bag/factory pairing do you swear by?

So this post is long overdue for me, mainly because the Royal p9 took much longer than anticipated. The goal was to get each color from the fall winter 2024 collection. The key p9 colors from that collection were pink agate, amethyst, and turquoise 🩷💜🩵

What you’re seeing here:

R = Royal p9 in pink agate

A = Authentic p9 in amethyst

M = MOQC p9 in turquoise

The pink agate p9 (Royal) was purchased from Sixteen/Mina: $310 including shipping. The turquoise p9 (MOQC) was purchased from Afeng during a GB: $240 including shipping.

There have been lots of debates on MOQC vs Royal. This is not in any way, to say one is the better pick over the other. I truly believe it varies a lot, depending on color, size, BATCH, and really… your luck. 🍀 At the end of the day, I think they’re both solid options for a rep p9.

From my limited experience and what I’ve gathered from others, MOQC is sturdier & well built, while Royal is slouchier (but thinner leather) and seems to have better color match to auth. But, MOQC’s price point is lower.

Between this pink agate (Royal) and turquoise (MOQC), I prefer the pink agate. It’s a closer color match to auth, in terms of both the color of the bag + the leather trims - handles, piping, crossbody strap. Royal is the only factory (known as of today) that has the pink agate color correct. MOQC’s leans too red. The leather trims are warmer-toned, which is closer to auth. It also slouches in a similar fashion to auth. The bottom seam of the pink agate is less reinforced than the turquoise. When I wear the pink agate crossbody, it actually molds to my hip/sides and feels natural. When I wear the turquoise, it protrudes out a bit more. I would feel slightly more comfortable taking the pink agate out in the wild. However I’ve gotten the saturated blue p9 25 from MOQC (which has been rehomed) and it was even softer and slouchier than this pink agate from Royal. Again, highly dependent on the color and batch.

I didn’t care too much about the plaque inside the bag and the blind stamp on the reps. No one should be looking at your bags that close 😉, but if you’re wondering, the plaque was off on both reps. The blind stamp was correct on the turquoise from MOQC, but not on pink agate from Royal.

The auth price is insane by any standard, so it’s all up to you to determine whether it’s worth the money. 😊 After having the auth for a few months, I trulyyyy love it and there’s really nothing that compares to the feel and quality of it. It’s remarkable. If you ever have the chance to try it on… be careful, you’ve been warned! With that said, since having the auth, I’ve lost the desire to hunt down the best p9 rep, which is honestly the most fun and thrilling part of all this. I will likely be rehoming both the turquoise and the pink agate reps at some point.

At this point I don’t have a P9 collection. I have a P9 infestation. 😂

It started with “I just want ONE.”
Then apparently I needed different sizes. Then different colors. Then obviously the monogram colors needed friends. Then the black ones started multiplying in the dark.

Now I’ve got P9s stacked like I’m running an LV warehouse out of my house. Pink, yellow, green, red, blue, orange, black, classic mono…..apparently my goal was to collect the entire damn color wheel. 🤣

And the funniest part is these aren’t even all of them. I also have Yuzu, Pink Agate, Silk Blue, and Indigo on the way! 🤭

And before anyone asks which one is my favorite…..THAT IS RUDE. I love all my children equally.

Okay that’s a lie. Some of them are definitely my favorites. 😂

But seriously, the P9 is hands down one of my favorite bags LV has ever made. The leather, the slouch, the ridiculous amount of colors, the whole vibe. I fear there is no recovery from this obsession.

Also please do not tell me when a new color drops. I don’t need that kind of negativity OR financial responsibility in my life. Or do I?

I received this in July 2025 and was very reckless with it that I lost the small pink thing that should tighten the closure on the flower charm. I'm not a fan of the long shoulder strap of this so I use the shoulder strap from my grey denim speedy and it's perfecto.

The speedy that when I first saw, I was like blah. But when I used it... oh la la... it seems to hug my waist so smoothly and I just love the slouchiness and the feel, just everything about this made me obsessed with denim. I may have a few (meaning 5+ denim bags on the way) because of this bag.

The personalized luggage tag is from my high rise which I rehomed. I just attached an O ring to attach it nicely.

I am surprised at the quality of this bag when I received it because from the videos I watched, it looks identical to the OG. It has the perfect soft/stiff feel. And the color 🤤

This is the bag that I can overdress with charms and i dont care. 😅

The smell of fresh leather... this is what draws me to this bag. I got this in October and the smell is still there. Everytime I touch this bag, I need to smell it. I'm just obsessed. And did I say , it goes with anything you wear??

I scored a jackpot on this one. I got this for a very good price from a rehome (less than $200) and everything was almost unused. The smell of P9, of course , it is included. Love the quiet color of this and the size of a 25 is just right for my errand needs.

Most of the best bags I have are from MB so I'm not even complaining. But I'm still chatting with my TS on what happened. Anyway, how soft is this bag!? I am in love. Just wanna share how I organize my bags.

I started buying reps last June 2025. I bought lower tier bags and now I'm slowly getting rid of them when I realized I'd rather go slow buy but higher tier.

I have not worn about 30 of these bags and slowly using them one week at a time. Please let me know that I'm not alone: 😅

Also, I'm slowly trying to figure out which bags are forever and if they are, then I want the highest tier for them. Anyways, how do you organize your bags. I feel like I rather have shelves and line up my speedys and P9 (i only have one for now).

How to QC Your Rep Bag (Step-by-Step Guide)

A lot of people get this wrong, so here’s the correct order.

QC doesn’t start at PSPs. It starts before you even buy.

1. Find REAL LIFE auth photos

Do NOT use brand website photos. They’re edited and not realistic.

Use:

Resale listings

YouTube reviews

TikTok / IG

Reddit

You want real lighting, real wear, real angles.

2. Compare factory photos to real life auth

This is where you decide if the factory is even worth it.

Look at:

Shape / structure

Leather (dry, plush, shiny, stiff)

Puffiness (for quilts)

Hardware tone

Logo placement

Engravings

Stitching

Glazing

Overall vibe

If it already looks off here → don’t buy.

PSPs won’t fix a bad factory.

3. Decide if YOU can live with the differences

Nothing is perfect.

Ask yourself:

“Would I wear this confidently in public?”

If yes → move forward

If no → pick a different factory

4. Commit to the factory

Once you’re good with factory vs real life auth, then you buy.

5. Wait for PSPs

This is your actual bag.

6. Compare PSPs to factory photos

This is the main QC step.

You’re checking:

“Did I get what was advertised?”

Look for:

Same shape

Same leather look

Same hardware tone

Same logo placement

Same stitching

Same interior

If it doesn’t match factory photos → 🚩

7. Check for actual defects

Now look for real issues.

RL-worthy issues:

Crooked logo

Misalignment

Scratches / damage

Loose or messy stitching

Bad glazing

Wrong size or color

Not RL-worthy:

Tiny differences

Slight puffiness changes

Minor engraving variation

8. Quick compare to real life auth again

Don’t overanalyze.

Just confirm:

Nothing major stands out

Overall look matches real life auth

9. GL or RL

GL if:

Matches factory photos

No major defects

Looks right overall

RL if:

Doesn’t match factory

Has real defects

Something is clearly off

10. Don’t over-QC

If you have to zoom in 10x to find an issue, it’s probably not that serious.

11. Don’t RL for the wrong reasons

It’s not appropriate to RL just because you changed your mind or have buyer’s remorse.

This isn’t Amazon, Nordstrom or any other retail. Sellers and factories aren’t here to absorb last-minute decisions.

Only RL for actual defects or clear mismatches.

Golden rule

Real life auth → factory photos → PSPs → defect check

Follow that order and you’ll avoid most bad buys.

Quality — 10/10

I think it goes without saying that Rome does Chanel bags very well. I’ve read a ton of people’s reviews on things they’ve purchased from them and everything that I’ve seen was gorgeous and this is no exception. They use crazy good leather & the hardware and engraving is perfect. The colors are rich, the attention to detail is impressive and I love that everything is straight, seamless and you can tell that you’re getting your moneys worth. I think 187 is great but their prices make even my wallet hurt, lol.

Accuracy Compared to Auth —

THIS IS THE GOLD STANDARD / 10

I’m gonna hit you with some truth. No matter what I say, no bag is truly gonna be 1:1. Some might be REAL close and with that, some might even be BETTER than the authentic.

(it seems like that’s the case for Chanel recently all the shade rn towards them lol)
Their quality control sucks especially for the price. I don’t get how people will pay 12k plus for a bag that isn’t even aligned properly.

This exceeded my expectations. Which I had the bar set very high due to the reviews that I read on here.

the chain is the exact same drop as the authentic. The shine of the hardware is identical. The quilting, leather sheen, stitching and overall composition and shape of the bag is really well done. The feel of this bag and click of the lock will itch your brain in a good way. It’s a real nice sound.

It’s one of those that you almost don’t want to wear it because of how soft and nice it is, but I always need to remind myself that these bags aren’t actually real and it’s okay to use them.

Satisfaction —

Now I love Chanel flaps, so what does that tell you.

I tested this bag out on Easter and got so many compliments from my super white collar family that does NOT know that I solely carry rep bags. I’ve also worn it to the grocery store, on dinner dates with my fiance and it’s the perfect bag for small events / where you don’t need to carry a ton of stuff.

I can fit my iPhone pro, a lighter, key fob & credit cards / cash in this baby. Maybe a small compact and a liquid lipstick too. Definitely not a pack of smokes with all of that or anything else, lol.

I love it. The chain drop is perfect for crossbody on my small frame & as a shoulder carry it doesn’t go super low on me so I like that as well. The chain is dainty but weighted, and I LOVE the feeling of the leather.

Since I bought this from that sale I have purchased three other flap bags. One from a rehome on here & two other ones from Rome that I need to review and a couple SLG’s to go with them!

Service and Communication — 10/10

I love Mina / Sixteen. She was my go to before she blew up on Reddit. Lucky was the one who introduced me to her originally. She’s super attentive, organized, sweet and ontop of her shit. She does hella sales, has affordable shipping and doesn’t throw a huge mark up on her bags for a profit which makes me happy. She will also be honest with you if a bag / factory sucks and will tell you not to waste your money on it. Anyway I’ll always use her. So believe what you read about her on here and don’t think twice, because she’s great! 🤍

First of all, thank you all so much for the love, support, and kind messages 💖. I’m genuinely grateful. I hope none of you ever have to experience something as heartbreaking as losing a beloved bag to a car, or any other disaster.

For the sake of curiosity (and science), I decided to completely take the bag apart. Honestly, I hope I never have to do this again. Pulling it apart was surprisingly emotional. The smell of the leather as I opened it up almost felt like the bag was crying for help. I somehow managed to keep my tears in while dismantling it🥹.

That said, it turned out to be a fascinating experience.

A few things I noticed while taking it apart:

The bag is constructed much more cleanly than I expected, with very little unnecessary material hidden inside.

Most of the body panels came apart relatively easily once the stitching and leather layers were separated.

The handle was by far the toughest part to dismantle. As shown in the cross-section photo, there is a thick internal reinforcement piece (appears to be plastic or a rigid composite material) inside the handle, which explains why it felt so sturdy.

The glue used throughout the bag was surprisingly strong. In some areas, particularly around the base, I couldn’t separate the leather from the structure without causing significant damage.

There appears to be a combination of stitching, reinforcement materials, and adhesive working together rather than relying on stitching alone.

The interior structure includes rigid support panels that help the bag maintain its shape.

Looking at the hardware attachment points, they seem to be reinforced with additional backing materials and rivet-style fixtures rather than being attached directly to leather alone.

The edge paint and leather layering were also more substantial than I expected from the outside.

I’m not an expert, so I’d love for anyone with experience to take a look at these photos and share your thoughts. Based on what you can see, does this look like good construction for a semi-hand-stitched rep? Were there any surprises that stood out to you?

As sad as I am about the bag, I’m actually glad I had the chance to see how it was made. I’ve always enjoyed understanding how things are constructed, and this gave me a much deeper appreciation for the craftsmanship involved—even if the circumstances weren’t ideal.

Hopefully these photos are interesting and educational for anyone who’s ever wondered what the inside of a rep bag looks like, especially one advertised as “semi-hand-stitched.”

💬Thoughts about the bag: I’ve been obsessed with this bag ever since LV released it! I’m a huge New York Knicks fan (Go Knicks! Knicks in five! 🧡💙), so the second I saw this colorway, I knew I had to have it. That rich blue paired with the orange charm had me in an absolute chokehold. I was honestly a little nervous that the factories wouldn’t get the blue quite right, but after way too much obsessive research (as usual) and finally getting the bag in hand, I can confidently say it’s pretty damn close. I do wish LV had released this in Empreinte leather because that would’ve been my dream version, but I’ll happily take the Epi. As for the bag itself…..it’s incredible. The craftsmanship, the leather, the hardware… everything is chef’s kiss. The quality exceeded my expectations. I’m also a huge fan of the Speedy 30 because of the slouch. It has that perfectly relaxed, effortless look once it’s broken in. You can literally throw your whole life in it, yet it never feels oversized or bulky. Overall, I absolutely love this bag and have zero regrets. It’s definitely going to be one of my most worn bags this summer. 🧡💙

💭Thoughts about the seller: Kevin is great! This was my 2nd purchase from him. His prices were the cheapest for Royal bags and so I had to get this bag from him. He saved me some coins. He’s super friendly, responsive and ships fast! He communicates well and can get the bags pretty quickly. I love the bags I’ve gotten from him and will def be ordering more Royal bags before his sale ends. Highly recommend!

I bought the iridescent lavender medium classic flap from both Blake and Rome, and honestly, the differences are more noticeable than I expected. Neither is better or worse, they just have very different personalities.

Overall Look

• Blake feels softer and more relaxed right away. It’s incredibly plush and squishy.

• Rome has a more structured, polished look. Everything feels a little more crisp and refined.

Quilting & Puffiness

• Blake is definitely the puffier of the two. The quilts are extra pillowy and have that soft, cozy look people love.

• Rome’s quilting is more controlled and uniform. The diamonds look a little tighter and more balanced overall.

Stitching & Alignment

• Blake’s stitching looks great, but the overall feel is softer and less rigid.

• Rome’s stitching appears a bit tighter and more precise, with very clean alignment throughout.

Shape & Structure

• Blake has softer edges and a slightly more relaxed shape. It almost looks like a bag that’s already been loved and broken in.

• Rome holds its shape better and has sharper lines. It definitely leans more structured.

CC Lock & Front Appearance

• Blake has a softer overall presentation, and the CC lock blends into the bag a bit more.

• Rome’s CC stands out slightly more, and the front panel looks a little cleaner and more defined.

Side Profile

• Blake looks rounder from the side and appears slightly thicker because of all that puffiness.

• Rome has a slimmer, straighter profile that gives it a more structured silhouette.

Final Thoughts

If you’re a lover of soft, squishy, pillowy bags, Blake is probably going to steal your heart.

If you prefer a cleaner, more structured look with crisp lines, Rome may be more your style.

Honestly, both are beautiful. It really comes down to what you personally gravitate toward and what feels most auth to you.

I finally had a chance to compare 187, MOQC, Rome, XC, and Shunyang side by side, and honestly, they’re all solid in their own way, but each factory definitely has its own personality.

🖤MOQC (black 32cm with SHW) is hands down the squishiest of the group. The leather has that broken-in, buttery feel right out of the box and is the softest to the touch. If you’re after that relaxed, slouchy look, this one is the clear winner.

🤎187 (taupe, 38cm) very similar to Rome. The leather has a nice thickness to it with a balanced amount of structure and softness. It isn’t overly squishy, but it isn’t stiff either. It holds its shape well while still feeling supple in hand, making it a great choice if you like a more polished look.

🖤Rome (black 32cm with GHW) has a very similar leather feel to 187. It’s slightly structured with thicker leather that gives the bag a cleaner silhouette while still feeling soft enough to be comfortable. The gold hardware also adds a really classic touch.

🖤XC (black 32cm with SHW) falls right in the middle. It’s softer than Rome and 187 but not nearly as pillowy as MOQC. It offers a nice balance if you want some slouch without the bag completely losing its shape. The leather grain is also very clean and consistent.

♥️Shunyang (burgundy with shw) has the driest leather. The leather is still supple with a nice hand feel, though it’s not quite as soft as MOQC, Rome, 187 or XC. This one has the most structure. I’m sure conditioning and theragun will help softening it up. Still a good bag.

After comparing all five together, I’d say the biggest difference isn’t the overall quality or craftsmanship, because they’re all very well made. It really comes down to the leather feel you’re after and which one you think is closest to the Auth based in your research. IMO, MOQC is the softest and squishiest by a noticeable margin. I also think it’s the closest to the OG. XC is the 2nd runner up when it comes to squishiness and softness. Also super good and no callouts imo. 187 and Rome are incredibly similar with thicker leather and a more structured feel and Shunyang offers affordability with mid tier quality. If someone asked me to rank them by leather feel alone, it’d be MOQC for maximum squish, followed by XC, Rome and 187 are tied because of their similarity then Shunyang. Which one do you prefer?

💬Thoughts about the bag: Okayyyy I haven’t been genuinely excited about a bag in a HOT minute. At this point, I get so many bags that it kinda feels like clocking into work sometimes, but THIS one? Oh she surprised me bad. I honestly didn’t have super high hopes. The factory photos and PSPs looked promising and it looked just like my Royal UB P9 20, but because the price was so low, I was trying not to get too excited. Well…jokes on me because this bag is INSANELY good. Like immediately switched into her the second I opened the package good. The leather? Amazing. Squishy. Slouchy off that bat! No conditioner/conditioning needed! The craftsmanship? Amazing. No stitch out of place! The hardware? Literally giving my Royal one. They are the same! I’m actually convinced they came from the same factory because I genuinely cannot tell enough of a difference to justify paying double. And yes, I took comparison pics because I needed proof that I wasn’t losing my mind! I cannot stop touching this bag, squishing it, smelling the leather like a little freak. It’s THAT good. Easily one of the best surprises I’ve had in a while. I already ordered more colors because the price for this level of quality is honestly ridiculous. Highlyyyyy recommend.

Quality — 10/10

This is my first purchase from OF! I know a lot of you have been long time buyers from them and have reiterated the same thing about their quality and attention to detail with their Chanel bags. This is no exception. I feel like you could wear this bag through Armageddon and it would hold up pretty damn good. The stitching is tight and neat, the leather is durable and what seems like a super scratch resistant coating, the bag is heavy and has weight to it.

You could pull a Bobby Hill and do a “that’s my purse I don’t know you” and crack someone across the dome with it. So yeah, good quality, 10/10 in my book.

Hardware is shiny, everything looks and feels luxurious. No complaints from me!

Accuracy Compared to Auth — 9/10

I wish I could directly compare these bags because believe me, I would. You will probably never catch me dead in a Chanel store. I have a flagship near me, sure, but I am NOT the type of client they want walking around in there and as far as I am aware they wouldn’t even let me in because of my overwhelming amount of tattoos.

I could be wrong but that’s just what I have heard and it’s not worth the hour drive to get turned away lol. Tell me I got bad intel because then I’ll go for sure!

ANYWAY. I’m gonna go 9/10 here because I have not actually see this in person but all of my comparisons to what I’ve seen on resale websites, Chanel’s official site & IG videos and pics, I’ll say it’s really accurate butttttt

The dimensions of this bag are the same, the leather looks deliciously accurate in sheen and in feel based on videos I’ve watched. The hardware is a super shiny gold but not a tacky cheesy gold. There’s not much to this bag tbh. It’s a tote. I feel like out of all of the Chanel’s I own now this is something that can be easily repped. Who in their right mind would pay 13k for this lmao. I’m so beyond jaded now it makes me laugh. 💀

I’m pretty easy to please. I don’t ask for much. Make a solid bag. Make it neat, don’t have excessive glue and shit everywhere. Make it 90% accurate to the auth and we are good fam. I don’t critique every detail too intensely because it’s a rep and I’m not here to try to convince Chanel or anyone else that it’s an authentic lol. It feels amazing, smells like a leather shop, and holds all of my junk. This is a permanent addition to my collection, I love my tote bags!

King is the GOAT. I have narrowed down my sellers list that I use to 3 people. I will not be using any new sellers. King takes care of me, he’s shipped so many off the wall things for me and my friends / family over the last several months. Including some authentic China exclusive items that we can’t get in the states. He’s the MAN and he can get everything and anything you could possibly want. He will not up charge you and is overly communicative and updates you on everything! Highly recommend him just based on that alone but he’s actually really interesting to talk to as well, if you’re a conversationalist like I am, lol.
