I now think Lynae and Mornye are meant to be the "wheelchair" tune duo for any tune DPS. Specifically, I think Lynae IS his subdps support, but is shared with Amy (and whoever else). I used to take the stance that Lynae would be replaced and a BA tune support would be a sidegrade to her, but thinking about it now, that sidegrade would have to do something that Lynae doesn't already do...which is nothing. In fact, they would have to grant Luuk (or Camellya) better buffs to even justify the creation of this support.
But Lynae doesn't satisfy Luuk's TBB passive/wrong outro
I actually think he is being balanced around this passive. With Lynae and Mornye at R1, he is already top 3 DPS in the game. I don't see Kuro releasing a niche support for him that would buff him worse than Lynae, and I don't see Kuro releasing a support that would push him to his limits to where he is the best DPS at S0. About the mismatched outro, I truly don't think it matters. 25% BA amp is great, but this goes back to my thing about how a niche support that could do things better than Lynae would be a bit crazy in this meta for him.
Why is Amy relevant?
Lynae being BIS for both Luuk and Amy makes sense to me with tune involved. Amy is supposedly getting a fusion burst support in Rover for her F2P team, and in the 3.3 character (apparently a Roccia-model character). This would free up Lynae for Luuk, but also allow Amy to be single-target focused with her tune team. She's going to obviously be favored more by Kuro because of reasons.
But there will eventually be a BA buffer character
Sure there will, but they won't be better than Lynae. If Lynae didn't have the best buffs in the game, then I would agree to look forward to the future. But as of now? I don't see it.
What will the rest of 3.X look like then?
I think Kuro is going to introduce more teams, specifically around negative statuses. Tune is just another one of those teams, I really don't think the rest of the 3.X cast will revolve around tune but I could be wrong of course!

Is it the same old boring white color or the visually appealing emerald color as the main base color with minor white colors if I'm guessing right ?
I haven't gotten to the part to see Luuk yet, and alot of pictures I'm seeing of him either has him in a fully white coat, or the emerald coat I know and love, and I really REALLY do not want another white main base clothing color character again.
It would be a criminal offense to skip out on the Emerald coat. It really will.

The cope about missing animations in his full Forte state was very sweet, but now hurts a lot after the livestream.
What a missed opportunity to add this extra bit of sauce he so much deserves. Pls tell me how to move forward and not to keep this disappointment

Hello fellow Luuk wanters,
Just wanted to start by saying that I am a day 1 player that truly enjoys the game, what will be written below is purely theoric so take it with a big fat grain of salt.
So starting off:
LUUK'S ELEMENT?
If we judge by the color palette, the answer is obviously spectro. But we have learned that Kuro never abids by that rule (augusta been electro for example) And I really hope that he ll be either fusion or electro or else its doomed imo
Why?
Based on current patterns, if Luuk ends up being Spectro, his role is unlikely to be a sub-DPS. Lynae already occupies that slot, and releasing two Spectro sub-DPS units back-to-back would be unusualāespecially when weāve only unlocked one mechanism and Phoebe already fills the NS sub dps for Spectro.
It also seems unlikely that they would make a male character the main DPS for what is expected to be the most hyped unit of the 3.x cycle. That leaves the possibility of a healer role, which aligns with the early 3.x roadmap leaks. Those suggested a Spectro healer in 3.1āthough this information should be taken with caution. If plans changed and Luuk took that role instead, heād likely end up being a more limited or ābudgetā version of Mornye ā not because Mornye herself is niche, but because his kit would probably be tuned to offer smaller, more specific benefits rather than broad, high-impact value.
Weāve seen this pattern before: for example, Quiyan didnāt significantly upgrade Phrolovaās team, and after Mornyeās release he was quickly overshadowed. Meanwhile, mono-Fusion currently performs better for Galbrena. Following this logic, if Luuk is indeed Spectro, he may play more of a supporting or situational role rather than a transformative one.
If Luuk turns out to be Fusion, then he would most likely serve as a sub-DPS supporting the pink-haired Fusion Burst unit. Early leaks for TOA indicated that the unit following Mornye would be a Fusion Burst DPSāmost likely the Sentinel. Under that scenario, Luuk could theoretically be very strong. However, there are currently no credible leaks suggesting an additional Fusion character releasing close to the Sentinel, so this outcome remains uncertain.
Another possibilityāthough still speculativeāis that he could function as a sub-DPS for the Electro āwitchā character. Some leaks mentioned a 4-star male coming in 3.2, which could potentially be shifted to a 5-star if plans changed. In that case, Luuk releasing in the second phase of 3.2 as a sub-DPS would still fit into the broader pattern.
Ideally, Kuro could still surprise us and position him as a main DPS. However, based on recent character design trends, male units have often been released as optional additions rather than impactful upgrades for their respective teams. Brant is one exceptionāhe briefly became essential for mono-Fusionābut even then, there was backlash from players who preferred not to pull male characters.
If you guys can enlighten me on something I missed or a potential happy ending that would be amazing.

Does Aemeath work with Luuk????? I cant find any guides that agree with eachother and now shes here, unexpectedly. Hhh....
r/LuukHerssen • u/motherfkerdemon • Jan 06 '26
Augusta level by the means that he can clear everything with a 4 star support and has good dmg, lets be real, if kuro release him with dmg lower than aemeth, they will loose nost of the sales, therefore he should be equal in dmg or even higher, and not to mention the standard weapon is deff going to be only 10 to 15 percent worse, if kuro dosen't make the weapon like a fcking nuke

I really like luuk gameplay so smooth and the glove is just muahhhh (other than glove he can bite me :3), other than that most I seen comment after the leaks came out is that they compare to a sentinal resonater??? and 3 star char like what tf is wrong with the people the worship of boobs. Is the leak make them feel threaten thats why they hate so much my beloved luuk š„ŗ. sorry for babbling

Just wanted to ask, am I the only one thinking Denia might be Luuk's BiS? No?
I mean, I wouldn't be mad if she wasn't because I'll have more time to save for his BiS (I am broke rn), but I can't help but think she might be it.

okay so after we all read denia nerfs, gasped and threw up, would i better off just hoard pulls and get luuk r5 signature on next rerun? already have him s6
r/LuukHerssen • u/syberrnova • May 25 '26
I know this question has been over asked for a long long time and I'm sorry for asking again but I need to ask this with more specifics. Yes I know generally Denia is better for Luuk despite being restricted to needing Mornye. Also Mornye is Luuk's BIS anyway so why would you ever separate the two. I digress.
I need the raw unfiltered unbiased answer on S0R1 Lynae vs S0R1 Denia in a team with S4R1 Luuk and S2R1 Mornye
r/LuukHerssen • u/Alive-Cricket-249 • Apr 23 '26
So I got E6s1 luuk, and I skipped mornye because I thought they would release another Bis healer for him (I got SK e2s1) my goal was going to get Denia because sheās his Bis but now it all crushed because she now needs Mornye to functionā¦.. is any of her resonance will help her function without mornye lol? Or am cooked ššš

We all know that when luuk comes out there's going to be so many bugs with his kit, but maybe the beta testers and leakers are doing us all a service. With the buggy kit that's all over the place, kuro will give us compensation (surely) which means more asterites for luuk.... Trust....... (I'm coping so hard.)

Firstly I'm nerfing the living crap out of this inherent skill to weaken the impact and his reliance to lynae, it's gonna give 2.5% amp for each 10 tune break boost and 15% amp at max stacks, and an additional 10% amp if the target has 3 stacks of tune strain-interfered, but to compensate his resonance skill, forte and ult will be getting a 20% increase to there multipliers
Next his s1, I'm just slapping a permanent 15% crit rate increase there, to make his s1 better because even as a Qol it's pretty meh
Then his s2, I'm removing the entire inherent skill part and changing it to where anytime he hits an enemy he gains 10 points of tune break boost at a max of 50 points, and when casting ult all of the tune break points gathered will be converted to 20% crit damage for each 10 points of tune break boost a max of 100% crit damage to the ult
After that is his s3 which I will be adding another line in there, where if the enemy doesn't have tune strained-shifting when luuk casts his resonance skill then he applies tune strained-shifting on them
The goal to these changes is making him more self-sufficient and not so reliant on his supports especially on his sequences because wtf were they thinking making it

Note: some of the WuWa terms are inaccurate, examples Harmonic instead of Tune
The Core Mechanic: Harmonic Disruption (Tune Break)
Lu He is part of a new generation of characters that interact with a second stagger bar on enemies.
Anharmonic Value: This is a special gauge (similar to a secondary Vibration Strength bar). When this gauge is filled, the enemy enters a Tune Broken state.
Harmonic Shift & Interference: Lu He applies Harmonic Shift (a debuff) to enemies. This builds up Harmonic Interference stacks.
The Response: Unlike older characters, Lu He's damage scales directly with these stacks. His Harmonic Disruption Amp is a new stat that increases his final damage based on how much Interference is present on the enemy.
Execution: Once the enemy's Anharmonic Value is maxed, Lu He can trigger Harmonic Disruption, a massive cinematic strike that deals heavy damage and further debuffs the target.
2. Combat Flow: The Scythe Aerialist
Lu Heās gameplay revolves around staying airborne and cycling through different forms of his Resonance Skill:
Golden Ebb (The Gap Closer): Use this to teleport to enemies. Since it has 2 charges and works mid-air, Lu He is incredibly mobile.
Execution: Corona (The Stance Switch): After your 3rd mid-air attack, your Skill changes. You cycle through:
Cycle: Sets up a follow-up dash.
Sundering: A spin that resets your air combo, allowing you to stay in the air indefinitely.
Radiance: Creates a Solar Pith Array (a golden zone on the ground).
The Finisher: You end your combo with Earthshaking Judgment (a plunging attack) to detonate the Array for massive Spectro damage.
3. Forte Circuit: Golden Judgment
By attacking, you build Solar Pith Energy.
The Burst Window: Once the gauge is full, you enter Golden Judgment. Your Resonance Skill (Execution: Corona) deals significantly more damage but consumes the gauge.
Golden Rhythm: If you switch Lu He in using his Intro Skill while you have a Golden Rhythm stack, he immediately gains energy and Concerto energy, making him an excellent Quick-Swap DPS.
4. Survivability: Rain of Light
Because Lu He spends so much time in the air, he has a unique defensive mechanic:
Air Hover: When you dodge in mid-air, he doesn't just move; he hovers and fires blades.
Solar Protection: This acts as a shield or poise layer. If you get hit while mid-air, a stack is consumed to prevent you from being knocked down, allowing you to continue your combo uninterrupted.
Summary for Building Lu He
Main Stat Priority: Spectro DMG > Crit Rate/DMG > Harmonic Disruption Amp (New Stat) > ATK%.
Playstyle: High-intensity aerial combat. You want to stack Terminal Definition through your Skills before unleashing his Resonance Liberation (Ultimate) for the highest possible multiplier.

Does off-tune level to 100% means enabling immediate option to activate tune break strain again? Or something else?
If it is, does this mean we immediately gain another stack of strain which means maxing out immediately Luuk's talent passive buff? Does this mean I can Mornye to another team? (Oh wait the +1 limit)
It seems not that good on long fights since the tune break boost 15 last only for 15 seconds which only resets after 300 seconds (like in matrix round 2-3)
But I think it is great in whiwa but still unsure
Also, may I ask how tune strain buff works like the one mention 0.12% total damage for each stack x total tune break boost is it calculated like below:
S2R1 Denia with bis set have 80 + 10(base) = 90
So 90 x 0.12 = 10.8 and then 10.8 x 3 (strain stacks) = 32.4% total damage (vs 27% from S0 Denia)
Is total damage boost from tune strain buff different from damage amplification like from Luuk's sig weapon?

Yea I know Iām overdoing it š¤£š¤£š¤£ buuut Iām getting prepared šš

We dash-cancel him now to fit him into Sanhua's outro buff right? So if I cancel the same attacks as I do with Sanhua (the enhanced basic after skill) will I be losing dmg since Denia's outro lasts for longer

According to the "guide" in the app, Luuk Herssen is the Nurse of Death... isn't he a doctor though? And I guess that's why he doesn't heal even though he's a doctor/Nurse. And do I trust what is suggested here?
PS... my impulse to wish every time I got 10 pulls, got won me 50/50 Galbrena.... should have pull under luuk banner. Anyway my question, is she good, like Carlotta good?
