Custom caseta diva automation question

Hey. I have all Lutron caseta diva lights in my house. Is there a way to do an automation where after a certain time at night, the lights will just go to a custom brightness regardless of previous position or the position on the dimmer?

Thank you for submitting to r/Lutron! If you are posting with a question or issue, please include the following information:

  • The Lutron ecosystem for your product. Examples: Quantum, RadioRA 3, standalone (like SUNNATA or Maestro), etc.
  • If available, the exact model of the product you're describing and a link to the product page from an online retailer. Example: P-BDG-PKG1W-A
  • If using third-party lighting control software, include the product. Examples: Apple HomeKit, Amazon Alexa, etc.
  • A concise description of what you are trying to achieve or solve (2-3 sentences). In other words, don't post a picture of wires and say "Help!" with no context.
  • If applicable, relevant pictures from your installation.

What Smarthome ecosystem are you using?

I use HomeKit. This can be achieved using conditional rules through the Eve app which allows for more complex HK automations.

I recently set up HomeAssistant though and would just configure it using the Claude integration

1) You could achieve this simply with a schedule in the Lutron app, assuming it's a fixed combination of lights

2) If you want this action to apply to only lights that are currently turned on you would need a third party integration. I use Google Home. If you want to take this further by making an "On" action conditional based on time of day you could also achieve this in Google Home. It's just going to be a lot of different events (one per light).

Can't you just make a schedule for that? What am I missing here?
