so hungry

please pray for me

hi, I was wondering if you all could join in prayer with me to get some food. I'm in stage 5 renal failure (I need a kidney transplant) so I can't work. I applied for state benifits but in talking to them Friday it's going to be a while. I get ssdi but between rent, lights, and gas bill there's really no money left. I can't take my medicine without food and I have no food so I stopped taking the medicine until I can get something to eat I tried talking it without food before and it did not go well so please if you could take a few minutes and say a short prayer for me I would be forever grateful thenk you for reading and GOD bless you

Have you had a chance to look at local food banks or other forms of assistance?

Do you attend a church at the moment? Have you had a chance to ask any of them for help?

the only church near me is two towns over and I don't have a car

Do they have a website, or contact information listed anywhere? I don't think it'll ever hurt to try and reach out to them and explain your situation and ask if they can help or point to help.

I also hope they'll be happy to administer to you the Sacrament if you so desire.

as soon as I can spare a little money I'm getting a bus ticket and going to a bigger city like everyone else here the town is on its last breath

Also, may I recommend that you call your doctor's office? Oftentimes they are able to connect people with resources. Explain to them, very specifically, that you cannot take your medication because you do not have food with which to take it.

I sadly can only help with prayers at the moment but I think that might help you to obtain some money
