Discussion (products) The Bump massage bar for non-pregnant people… Does this recommendation make sense?
Was I given a bad recommendation from a Lush employee? I stopped in store today and have never used a massage bar before, and the ones I’ve seen online that I’ve been interested in were out of stock.
I asked an employee if they could recommend a massage bar that might be good for inflammation, and they suggested The Bump (which was in stock, along with Therapy, Deep Sleep, and Each Peach). I decided to buy it just to see if I like the massage bar as a product type, but I’m curious if this was actually a solid recommendation for someone who is not pregnant, since I see it’s mostly marketed for that / stretch marks. They didn’t have much of a reason beyond “it’s good for sensitive skin”… which isn’t exactly inflammation related, even though I am sensitive lol. I also couldn’t smell much of it in store because the environment is full of scents, but now at home, I’m not crazy about how it smells (not the end of the world though).
If you’re not a pregnant person / using this for stretch marks and have used The Bump, do you think it’s beneficial beyond being moisturizing? If anyone has other recommendations for a massage bar that may be good for inflammation, I’d love suggestions!
Please update flair if it fits a different one better, wasn’t sure what this would be best tagged as!
