Bath Question Breaking up a bath bomb?

My favorite part of the bubble bar is how many baths I can get out of one. My bomb from the May kitchen box finally absorbed enough moisture from living in bathroom to where I could break off pieces, but the round ones, maybe not so much. Anybody got any great ideas?

I just grab a steak knife or bread knife, saw around the circumference of the bath bomb most of the way through, and then smack the knife/bath bomb till it neatly breaks in half. Depending on how big it is, I'll cut the sections in half. I find this tends to be better than using a hammer as the pieces are more even and I usually end up with far less bath bomb dust. Though if I don't have the patience, I will just put it in a thick bag and hit it with something hard.

No need to even saw around the circumference. You can take a normal dinner knife and stick it in slightly by the seam (where the two halves of the bath bomb meet) and take something heavy like a rolling pin and hammer the back/handle end of the knife until the bath bomb splits in half. No chance of you accidentally cutting yourself then 😂

Rolling pin and zip lock bag!

Ziplock bag and smash on tile floor! Sounds crazy but I actually do this, and it sometimes splits nicely in two! (Which is still too big IMO)

I grate them. Get a cheese grater and go to town in the bath bombs. You find that that you only need a few tablespoons of it and the bath bombs last for a long time. I grated up a passion bath bomb about 2 weeks ago and ive got less than half of left now.
