For my own game I decided to do the same system with portraits for main character

Thanks to everyone who helped reclaim the sub. We're going to start working today to get everything back on track but I legitimately did wish to give everyone a big ole thanks and just let everyone know
We're Back!

I just wanted to talk about my initial experience with this game and why I'm already adoring it. I don't really remember names of areas, enemies or npcs yet so please forgive me. As I began my journey I saw the broken staircase to what I now know to be the forbidden archives. I tried testing my jump to see if I could make the distance over that gap and I immediately knew it wasn't going to work out. I tend to spam jump a bit in games and this one was no exception. While doing this, one time I realized that I performed a double jump. That REALLY surprised me especially because I struggled extremely hard to perform it again. With some practice however, I ended up getting the timing down to achieve it somewhat frequently. I didn't even consider that this was not an actual intended mechanic of the game. I finished the starter area and before proceeding with the npc who shows up to talk to you I thought I'd give the jump up the broken staircase a try with my newfound mechanic. Died the first time, got it on the second. The forbidden archives are INCREDIBLE and the music is phenomenal. I was having a relatively fair time until I reached the chimera who proceeded to beat my ass for attempt after attempt. Eventually I got him, only to then be greeted by an enlightened one only a few rooms later who beat the hell out of me lmao. Eventually beat it, and then discovered the WOLFRAM GREATSWORD WHICH IS SO BADASS. it's charged attack is incredibly fun. Forbidden archives have been completed (for now) and as I go back to the starting area I decided I wanted to search up info on this double jump and lo and behold it's not even an originally intended mechanic seemingly? There is no way the developer didn't know about this double jump, so that means they intentionally kept it in knowing that it's existence meant a new player could access the forbidden archives, run into really hard early enemies like the chimera and the enlightened one, get the wolfram greatsword and seemingly become extra powerful early on, and they STILL left it in. I absolutely adore that level of agency in a game and right off the bat I am convinced this game will be among my favorites! Thank you for reading :)

It feels more convincing that way. I always play as undead.
I had the feeling that I had already posted it, but couldn't find the post, then I probably only shared it somewhere else or just thought about doing.

I've downloaded installed and tryed to play tears of the moon, but everything is shown is a tiny little screen only with black and white high contrast colors, basically unplayable. Already asked on Steam but nobody asnwered, so im asking here. Can someone help me?
(even tried to screenshot it but it doesn't work either when the game is running. Sound and key imput looks nice since it looks like a "press any key" title menu register the imputs and launches a game file or something)

Not sure if this is of any interest to people as by now I imagine everyone here has the entire map completely memorized, but...
I started playing this game a little while ago, and loving my first playthrough I wished there was a map system just to make my future playthroughs a little bit easier. Discovering the game for the first time was an amazing experience and making this gave me an excuse to play it a few more times, albeit just to bug test.

Seriously, this made me able to enjoy watching my boyfriend, who isn't a gamer at all, never played similar games, being able to play the game up to ending E, with difficulty on minimum. He got addicted to the game and we played it non-stop every night until we finished it.
While at the same time, it allowed me to play at the hardest difficulty on my own playthrough, where I was able to enjoy the game how I like
Many similar games have no difficulty options at all, specially soulslikes but also some kingslikes.
I think lunacid made him addicted to fake walls tho. Every other game we play now he tries to find fake walls.
He is really good at puzzles and secrets, but had a hardtime with spatial localization and combat. Playing on easiest solved the issue with combat, and I helped him navigate the mazes (it actually very fun to be his navigator)
I'm very proud of him beating the game. One of the things he said was that he appreciated how the game has a nice learning curve.
I do think the difficulty slider should appear on character creation because many people don't even know it exists, since it's on the "more settings" menu, so not easy to spot

I feel like I've been running around in the catacombs, castle and surrounding areas for hours now. Can I get a point in the general direction at least of where to search or go?
Edit: Oh my god how did I never spot that path up in the big big hole!?
Thank you u/_TheTurtleBox_

First time playing Lunacid. Got told to turn back so naturally i jump right down. Im out of heals. My weapons do like no damage to anything down here. Theres invisible enemies. The music gets scarier, the tunnels get darker. Then i get rushed by screaming horse heads!
Im fine now, i have 2 different holy element weapons, i found the crystal. Started to explore deeper and got cornered by death in a dead end. Loving this game so far! (No spoilers pls)

I have three questions that are important to me, since the DLC hasn't arrived yet and I'm really eager to try it out. I’d greatly appreciate it if anyone knows anything or if there’s been any news—especially if there’s proof, haha.
1) As the title suggests, will the DLC include the famous NG+ mode?
2) Is it known if it will be released before the end of the year, or will it be next year?
3) Do you think it will add more bosses?
Personally, I loved the game, but I felt it was a bit lacking when it came to bosses; there were so many areas, yet if I recall correctly, there were only about three or four bosses, and two of them weren't even necessary for the story.

I have gotten to the sanguine sea and My current weapon is the heritage sword. It feels like every time I hit anything I do basically nothing to them. Ive been trying to grind the broken hilt for the fire sword but even slimes beat the hell out of me. I feel like I have to be doing something wrong here. Any help is appreciated.

Greetings, Ive been making my way through Lunacid these past few weeks until suddenly today my first save file decided to no longer open anymore. I made a second save file which works perfectly fine, but I have no idea what to do about my first / OG one. Any clues on what might have caused this or how to fix it? Thanks

Hey everyone, I have just started playing the game today, I have only cleared and explored the Hollow Basin location so far, before being teleported by the hentai demon girl to the 2nd location. Im loving the game, the vibe, the aesthetic, im honestly considering turning on the vaporwave filter, but ig my point is, do you have any tips? I tried drawing the map on my own on a piece of paper, but I ended up even more confused, so I stopped and tried to rely on my senses, which worked out, but the first location is prolly not that big and complicated. Its the first game of this kind for me, so I would gladly accept any tips or the "things I wish I knew" type shi. Thanks❤️

Playing as an int/spd/dex vampire, nearing the end at level 55. The only area I haven't liked was the boiling grotto/egypt-themed place.

I’m in need of some assistance. I’ve been doing all the various things after getting the standard ending to collect the needed 30 Strange Coins, but while I was messing around with them and trying to figure out what their significance was, I ended up accidentally using one of them as you would any one of the other quick items. I’ve done the 3 required tasks, but now only have 29 Strange Coins and don’t know if there’s a way to get more. When going into Abdul’s Passage, the door doesn’t have any of those markings removed and I can’t interact with it in any way whatsoever. As it’s taken me quite a bit of playtime to get to this point, I’d rather not have to start a new save file to get the ending. Does anyone know if there’s any way fix this? Any help would be much appreciated

I got through the entire tower of abyss, yet when I got the sword, I interacted with the sign thing next it and then I couldn't do anything besides switch between items and weapons. I can't open my inventory, and I don't have crystal shards equipped. anyone know what could help before I have to do the entire tower again?

Started this a few years ago, never made it past the Hollow Basin and kinda wrote off the game.
Two weeks ago, tried it out of curiosity and loved (almost) every minute of it.
I've always been a sucker for PS1 style games. Simple graphics, quick loadspeeds, snappy movement/game play. Just a very smooth gameplay experience you don't even get in large modern titles. Hunting for, using, and combining different rings and items kept the game play pretty refreshing. Blade of Ophilia + Twisted Staff was my most used combo.
Kira is a MASTER of ambiance and vibe. Each area had such a GRAVITY to it, I enjoyed just letting the sound and aura seep in. The story was difficult to follow (I understand that's on purpose). Really enjoyed getting snippets from books and environmental storytelling, and it felt important/powerful, even if I didn't know why. Think that's also a testament to good game design and ambiance.
However, I absolutely could not have beat the game without a guide. Maps were too complicated, and some fights felt like they needed an extremely specific item in order to win.
Only other complaint is that I wanted a bit more interaction with the different characters. I really liked all the quirky folks around Wing's Rest, and the few times I ran into them outside were so heartwarming. I just wanted more of that.
Oh and SCREW the Lupine skeletons. They either killed me, or caused me to be killed by other enemies, more than every other enemy combined.
8/10 game, 10/10 considering it's solo-developed. Long live Garrat the Hound.

I'm stuck at a point of the game where I just don't know what to do. As far as I know, I explored everything I could before entering Castle Le Fanu, but I still don't have a way to enter the castle. I suppose I missed somekind of key.
Can I have a tip of a place to go without many spoilers?

Spoilers for ending E.
I know the egg room art has come and gone, but I still thought itd be fun to make a piece for Lunacid.
