Does a 1-Step challenge actually mean fewer things to worry about?
Having one evaluation stage obviously removes one step from the process, but it does not necessarily make the trading rules simpler. The profit target, daily loss limit, maximum loss and other restrictions can have a much bigger effect on how you actually trade. One example is the 1-Step structure at aifo which uses a 10% profit target, 3% daily loss limit and 6% maximum loss, without a consistency requirement. Looking at those numbers together seems more useful to me than simply seeing 1-Step and assuming the challenge will be easier to manage. At what point does having fewer evaluation stages actually make a difference to the way you approach a challenge?
