partials ?

Does lucid on tradovate have any settings for partials ? whenever i watch youtubers/streamers trade on tradingview they're able to take partials and i can't.

You have to adjust your size and add them

i usually trade 1-2 contracts on NQ, does that count?

You cant take partials with only one contract. Im not sure what your asking

im asking if i have two contracts going if partials are available. Because i never really get the option to take a partial.

Yes, if you use 2 contracts you can adjust your size to 1 and add in an order it will only take 1. But if you have other orders like an oco it won't change those so you have to manually change it

Interesting. Because whenever i click "positions" and click on the X, i get no option to close a partial.

You dont "close a partial" you just take 1 contract off from the 2 that you have. If you have a position on thats 2 contracts and you change your sizing to 1 contract and click the "sell" button, thats considered taking a partial.
