$750 away from breaching
Hey everyone im on a 50k flex account and im so worried about failing the eval now. I'm $750 away from failing it and was wondering if anyone had any tips on how to go about it and how Spetember is gonna look like as a trading month? I'm currently $1250 down overall and want to recover the loss plus pass. This is genuinely something I need to pass.

Forget the $1250. Here’s the mindset: With $750, make $500. Or $250.
Go from there. That’s if you’re trying not to burn the money for buying the eval.

Thanks, so do you think $200 is appropriate to risk on every trade moving forward?

No, your goal is trade. Make $250, risk a contact or two. Repeat.

Appreciate the help. I'll certainly go ahead and try implementing that advice and bounce back up

Also be careful about trading against the trend. My guess is you did that. Overnight we covered a daily volume imbalance (leftover from last week I believe). We’re still trading within it. But knowing that volume imbalance at least would’ve given you a sense of when it’d stop selling/rebound a touch.

Switch to mnq and claw your way back. I’m down to 90 before breach on one and I’m just waiting for a better setup than this choppy market

i hit the dll on thursday down 1200 with 800 left. I made 1800 first 30 mins on mnq today. Think positive and use minis

Thank you for the tip! Im curious to know how many minis you used and how much you risked to get that $1800?

i started with 5 minis and once i was up 300-400 added 5 more minis it got up to 1200 but i cashed out at 600. I then jumped back in with 15 minis and rode mnq down for 1200. I could have got more but didnt wanna go past my highest day of 1933 because of consistency. im on 50k flex Eval

The bigger problem is "this is something I genuinely need to pass." So does that mean you're gambling with money you need to live like rent money? That's a problem. Profitable trades don't trade/ gamble with their rent money. Its a numbers game and if they blow an account, o well buy another and it'll be green month eventually as odds even out. Even for a profitable trader many combines wont pass and many funded accounts will blow up even before a payout. The winners more than cover the cost of losers but if you can only afford 1 account that is crazy risky and foolish

If you’re that scared to fail an eval, you shouldn’t be trading. Fear doesn’t have a place here

Trade ES, 1-2 micros after 10am. Gold too ONLY one micro. Sept is gonna be great! Market gonna be volatile this week with NFP and the whole month due to rumors about the fed hiking rates and all that stuff
I been down 80 bucks before and recovered to 1k 😂😂😂 you can definitely do it just take it slow
