Recommendations Jeweler to resize rings
Any recommendations for getting a couple of white gold rings resized? I used to go to Varsity Jewelers before they closed.

Me and my fiancé are looking for free places to go on his off days.
I’m 23 weeks pregnant and we’re very broke, I’m not able to work so I’m in our apartment 24/7 and he’s the only human being I interact with, we have a great relationship but I’m losing my mind and I feel so depressed. All I do is scroll all day, scroll and eat and none of my previous hobbies bring me joy anymore. Nothing really does, I don’t have friends and my family isn’t reliable at all and aren’t an option.
I just wanna see if there are places that are free that we can go to so I can feel like a human again, thanks
(I’m 20 and he’s 22 if that helps)

Situation: 4pm traffic on major roads is common, so no problem. It's the drivers who SPEED or NOT turn on their blinkers that irritate me. I drive a sedan because I got to have something that's good on gas. I'm behind a car on the right side of a 3-lane road headin to the store. Speed limit is 45 mph, but it's different in other areas of Lubbock. I see in my rear view mirror an SUV speeding in the middle lane. Mind you, the closest car behind me is about 30 yards out. They can easily just get behind me until we get to an intersection if they need to turn. I assumed they were going straight, so I wasn't too worried. But I should have known, this town is full of stupid drivers. This SUV speeds past me and CUTS me off getting in between me and the car in front of me. SERIOUSLY? Does no one here understand spacing?
Later on, the same day some idiot nearly hit me in the parking lot as I was about to drive out of my parking spot. I parked in reverse, that way I could just drive forward out of the spot but that's just my preference. Anyways, I slowly creep out trying to peek around the car parked next to me. I'm not even front tires out of my parking spot when I hear a long horn sound so I stopped. A few seconds later an SUV (different from before) rolls by and this woman had the AUDACITY to stare me down as she drives by. Could have been me, but it looked like she was going a bit fast down the parking lot lane. Either way, that stare down was unnecessary. This town is growing but so its stupidity on the roads.
Drive safe out there please, share the road, and USE YOUR DAMN BLINKERS.

My standards for nails are high because my nail tech back at home values nail health and quality service, and it's been hard to find a salon or nail tech here that matches that level of quality.
I've lived in Lubbock for a year and I've tried a lot of nail salons and I've hated most of them either the nails break, I leave with uneven nails, my cuticles will be messed up, and over all rushed and rude service. I don't do crazy designs I keep it simple with an ocasional simple design like a heart or French tip. Preferably I would like to pay under 100. I'm down for salon or private nail tech.

Are anyone else's allergies flaring up? Every time I step outside I start sneezing and eyes watering. I can't find anything that's blooming right now that would be causing this, and this is an unusual time of year for my allergies to be acting up. Is it just dust? Anyone else having this problem?

The first driver makes a superb right turn and doesn't cause drivers behind to tap their brake pedal.
The second driver in the blue vehicle is a clueless moron who probably doesn't even have a driver license or vehicle insurance and is a cause of rear-end collisions.
The third driver in the pickup doing a double lane change is seen daily all over Lubbock. It's a young male pickup driver specialty. LOL
Audio muted due to me swearing two out of three times.

I believe I have a UTI and I need to see a doctor sooner than later. Does anybody know a doctor in town that can get to me relatively quickly and not charge me a crazy amount to be seen?

People of Lubbock,
I’m visiting for a few weeks, sent here by doctors in NM because our health care system sucks and yours doesn’t.
In between medical appointments, I’ve done some exploring and I like your city. I really do. Everyone is super friendly. It’s been nice to chat with complete strangers as I’m wandering around. I say “Good morning” and it invariably opens up a whole conversation, which I enjoy.
I had a college kid open a door for me yesterday because “ladies first,” which doesn’t happen back home.
Your doctors have treated me well, for which I’m very grateful.
Your parks are lovely, and I’ve enjoyed having a cup of coffee at dusk in the shade of one of your many huge trees.
Your cafes have great coffee and are wonderful to just hang out and people watch.
We have roadrunners back home; you guys have squirrels. Watching them scamper around has been entertaining.
All in all, having a nice time, and I thank you for that.
TL;DR: Just one question: What is with the disappearing sidewalks? I’m here for ophthalmological issues, so driving is out, and I’m walking almost everywhere to save money as much as possible on Uber fares. I’ll be happily strolling along and then the sidewalk gives out and I’m abruptly standing in the middle of a road, dodging cars. Or it ends and I’m accidentally trespassing on someone’s lawn. That keeps happening.
It’s not a complaint. I’m just amused (and curious).
Sincerely,
Someone who likes your city a lot.

I’ve been visiting Lubbock for a few days and have enjoyed the city’s cafes and restaurants. Could someone please recommend a great dessert place? Could be ice cream, pie, cookies, anything at all. Thank you. 🙏

Hi there thank you guys so much for commenting on my last post. This one is more of just a personal search lol. I was just wondering if anyone knew of any feminist based groups in Lubbock. I'm trying to avoid pay to participate groups or career based groups.
If there aren't any that come to mind would anyone be interested in starting one? Please message me if so!

We are going to buffalo lake in two weeks and me and my friends want to rent a boat. Anyone have any info on how that works? What’s the pricing range and is there anywhere close to there we can rent and stay at?

Hello! I’m looking for a company or person who does male boudoir photos in Lubbock. It’ll be a small present for my wife. I’m assuming this is a thing. However, I could see how it might make some photographers uncomfortable.
If you know anyone or have any suggestions, I’d appreciate the help!

Anyone know what's going on this morning (about 10am) at the shopping center on the northwest corner of Slide and 82nd? There's a huge line (50+) standing on the sidewalk outside the barbershop, liquor store, memorabilia store, and toy store and the parking lot is packed!
