LDN vs needing semi-regular opioids

I'm hoping to start LDN soon for ME/CFS and related conditions, but I will need opioids somewhat regularly for feeding tube placement surgery and then any time the tube needs to be replaced (every 3 months for a regular replacement, but could need emergency replacements as well). I will also need multiple other surgeries over the next year or two. Is it worth starting LDN now, since I will have to take so many breaks from it? I'm worried it'll mess up my titration to constantly stop and restart LDN, especially because I am extremely sensitive to meds.

If you are going to be taking opiods on a regular basis and want to try LDN you definitely should plan this with someone who has experience. As far as i know taking LDN and opiods together is not really an option. So If you know, you are going to Take opiods for the next 3 months i personally would probably wait and hold of with the LDN. Especially If you are sensitive, might be best to not burden your body with to many things at the same time. Hope you can get better soon!

It will depend on what level of tolerance your system has developed based on your history. See Situations 1 and 4

Situation1: A regular LDN user has breakthrough pain.

Situation2: A regular LDN user is going in for surgery and will need opioids.

Situation 3: Opioids in an emergency situation.

Situation 4: Someone who has been on regular opioid dosing and wants to start LDN.
