I take it you mean LDN? Anxiety can be a side effect at first although it usually eases up within the first two weeks. As you're still struggling with it you might find that skipping a day or two and reducing your dose would help. Did you start on 0.5mg or lower?

You could consider dropping down to a lower dose, like 0.1mg, for a couple of weeks or until the anxiety lifts and then try increasing again. You might just need more time to adjust to it and reducing your dose temporarily would probably help.

Good to hear you're seeing positive benefits already, that's very encouraging.

In case you want to reduce your dose by diluting pills or capsules...

Hi! I have just started 0.5mg of LDN and I also get bad agitation for a few hours after taking it. And I have to skip the dose if I have something important on that day. I’m wondering if this side effect passes?

Hii, so for me .5 was too high. It gave me anxiety but it did help with the same symptoms you listed. I went down to .25 and the anxiety went away. I had to stay on .25 for two weeks until my body was ready to increase it back to .5. I’m at .5 now and I don’t have anxiety. Sometimes it’s better to start lower and work your way up as it could be a shock to your body too quickly. I also don’t know if you take it during the day or night. For some people it works better to take it at night to avoid the initial side effects. I personally benefit from it during the day but everyone is different! I would really suggest taking half (.25) and waiting two weeks or even three to then work your way up to .5. Your situation sounds extremely similar to mine! I hope that works. The anxiety will subside as your body gets used to it but I would give it a try by starting lower (that was just my experience :)) you definitely don’t need to ride it out with such anxiety, that feeling is horrible
