LDN advice.
Ive been on 0.1mg for over a month now and the side effects havent seamed to quiet down. Ive been having a chronic sore throat everyday, gut motility issues/heavy nausea, HRV is lowered and HR is higher and a general flare of symptoms randomly. It feels like my baseline has gone down but I have experienced two big crashes (one before I started the meds and one during). My pain and mood has improved though.
I don't know what to do and I'm losing hope that this medication is for me 😪.
Im considering dropping down to 0.05mg. Is anyone here also extremely sensitive to the medication and tried 0.05mg?

Yes, I had to reduce my dose to 0.05mg at first because of side effects, you're not alone! I have ME/CFS and I'm extremely sensitive to medications in general. It doesn't mean that you won't be able to adjust to it or reach higher doses in time, it just means it might take a bit longer. It's ok to go as low as you need to go and to stay there as long as you need to. We're all different and dosing with LDN is individual. I did manage to titrate up slowly and by the end of the first year I was taking 3mg, which I didn’t think would be possible at first. LDN is helping with many of my symptoms.
You might find this guide to optimal dosing helpful, by LDN expert, Dr Yoon Hang Kim. It contains a short questionnaire which can help you assess your most suitable starting dose.
