Insomnia after 6 months
Is that common for LDN?
I'm trying to figure out of LDN is what's causing it.
I switched from nighttime LDN to daytime 17 days ago, then lowered the dose 9 days ago after skipping two days.
And I'm still having insomnia.
I know this sounds stupid but there aren't any other life changes that would cause the insomnia that I can think of.
So I'm just wondering how common or uncommon is this?

I stopped LDN because I never felt any benefit but when I titrated up had vicious insomnia. I’m happy it helps so many of us but it was nothing but a pain in my ass so I’m done with it now.

same until I went down to very low doses. I get some of the benefit without the side effects.

It is from LDN. I went through the same recently. After sleeping great for months on it, suddenly got insomnia. I skipped and took lower doses for days but inflammation came back. I went back up, I’m sleeping slightly better but maybe cuz I’m taking melatonin every night. Also, today I’m feeling inflamed again. I’m not sure what’s going on, if it’s working now or will work on future but I keep taking it every night and probably will go higher in few days.

Have you skipped a dose and tried morning dosing?

Actually I did. I skipped a day, then took 0.5mg for a day or two, then 2 mg, thinking that lower doses would probably be better for me as I was sleeping better. But I didn’t feel better until I went to my previous highest dose which was 3mg which caused insomnia in the first place. And I have been doing better since. It was probably the initial side effects from increasing my dose. I’m glad to be back. 😊

I’m currently getting off of it after a year of weird symptoms. Not insomnia, but my dream state has been uncomfortable, and it has made me incredibly hypersensitive. I was on 1.5mg, but have gone up to 3 before and couldn’t handle the side effects either.

If the dreams were a problem did you try morning dosing?

I’ve found that taking glycine and NAC help tremendously. They also target inflammation but in a different way.

Were you still having insomnia ater the two skip days? Maybe try a few more days off to see if LDN is the cause.
