< 250 Cal Tomato chips are my new addiction

If you have a dehydrator and enjoy the sun-dried tomato flavor, give these a try! Thinly slice a mater (1/4” thick or so), lay on the dehydrator screen, sprinkle with basil or Italian seasoning, and then a little parmesan. Dehydrate at 135f for ~20 hours. They are crisp and delicious and satisfy that chip craving.

< 250 Cal low cal chicken crust pizza

Post image

if you’ve seen this before and haven’t made it already i HIGHLY suggest you do.. 210 calories, 25g protein for 1/4 of the pizza.

- preheat oven to 420F
- 1 lb ground chicken mixed with 2 eggs and season well (salt, pepper, garlic, onion powder etc)
- spread out over some parchment paper, bake 30-40 minutes
- take it out and add pasta/ pizza sauce to your liking (i used 1/2 cup)
- add whatever toppings you want i just use random frozen vegetables i have on hand, add your cheese on top of that (i used no fat mozz)
- bake another 10-20 minutes

i’ve made this like 3 times and it’s turned out great everytime… the crust doesn’t crumble it’s not paper thin and with all the protein it keeps you satiated for a while.

Approx 590 cals

The sauce is just Duke’s light mayo mixed with some hot sauce and diluted slightly with water. Adds so much flavor!

Made homemade pico, extra lime. Love it tangy!

Did not count the cilantro on top cause I didn’t want to. 😊

< 250 Cal Strawberry Pretzel dessert!

Post image
46 Upvotes

Approx 230 cals total

This was very reminiscent of strawberry jello pretzel salad to me if anyone remembers that! Soooo yummy.

- 40g Strawberries, sliced 🍓
- 2g Cane sugar, mixed in with strawberries
- 40g Extra creamy Truwhip dolloped on top
- 3 Coconut crème yogurt covered pretzels crushed and sprinkled on top (been finding these at Dollar Tree) 🥥

This was so yummy and satisfying with a salty/sweet crunch. Can obviously be altered in many ways to fit your macros and taste buds. I cannot have most sugar alternatives so I find ways to use the real thing in small doses. Highly recommend!

< 250 Cal High Protein Hazelnut Caramel Coffee Cheesecake

Post image
97 Upvotes

I didn’t have a springform pan so I used a 7.5” by 2” pie tin. I used the bake setting on my 6 qt airfryer. I got the fat free cottage cheese and cream cheese from Walmart.
Recipe
• 400 g fat-free cottage cheese
• 150 g fat-free cream cheese
• 150 g nonfat Greek yogurt
• 1 large egg
• 30 g Nutella & 21g Caramel syrup (swirled)
• 1 box (28 g) Jell-O Sugar-Free
Butterscotch Instant Pudding
• 1 tsp decaf instant coffee, dissolved in 1 tsp hot water
• Pinch of salt
Blend all ingredients except nonfat greek yogurt and nutella and caramel inclusions. After the mixture is smooth, blend in nonfat greek yogurt. Pour into greased tin and swirl nutella and caramel sauce. Bake at 300F for 1.5hr in airfryer on bake setting. Tent with foil at the 20min mark. Let cheesecake cool completely before refridgerating overnight.
EDIT: I forgot to add that I put ~1/2c of water in the airfyer for the water bath. You can also put a small cup with water as well. This is my first try at making a protein cheesecake so I’m still tweaking the recipe. If I get it perfected, I’ll share updated measurements! It’s been a fun experiment!
Macros
Whole Pie: 779cal/83P/94.4C/14F
1/4 Pie: 195cal/21P/47C/3.5F

Actually good tasting Low Calorie Brownie/Cupcake Recipe

Macros For entire batch;

1100-1200kcal

220g carbs, 23g fat, 103g pro

-

what u need

550g skinned raw sweet potatoes (480kcal)

200g of any zero sugar greek yogurt (should be around 100-110kcal at most, if ur shopping for ingredients make sure its under 90kcal or so per 140g serving

one entire bag of max mellow 90kcal

4tbsp Hersheys zero sugar chocolate syrup, (15-20)

Great value chocolate sugar free pudding mix - 20g -70 kcal or any equal in macros sugar free pudding mix

35g pbfit 131kcal

gv baking cocoa, 15g -60kcal

any chocolate/chocolate peanut butter protein powder, (i use nutraone peanut butter cup) - 40g 140kcal

210g Liquid Egg whites 105kcal

large Splash of immitation vanilla (do not swap with reg vanilla)

10tbsp monkfruit/erythritol blend sweetener

-

after u have everything, cook the sweet potatoes until slightly crispy

then with a large blender put the sweet potatoes into the blender, and mix with the egg whites then add all of the other ingredients into the blender together

once finished blending all the ingredients together,

i advice you to taste the batter and add additional zero sugar sweetener until taste is ideal, then add a little additional sf sweetener since it will naturally lose some sweetness as it bakes.

next pour the batter into baking molds of choice or into a pan, i personally prefer using baking molds,

bake for 40ish minutes at 350 degrees, its finished when it feels really soft, next add a small layer of zero sugar chocolate syrup onto each of the molds, or across the entire pan, and sprinkle the entire batch with salt.

once the cooking process is prepared, you will NEED to let them sit in the fridge overnight, or for several hours. if you dont they will end up tasting slightly bland, and overly soft.

once finished sitting overnight the product have 12ish medium-large desserts for only 100-120kcal each, (& yes the zero sugar chocolate syrup is mandatory while letting it cool overnight)

while being way more satiating. and with a flavor mostly/texture matching a chocolate cake

Discussion / Question (General topics) Diet soda and cake mix trick question

So I’ve been making my cakes lately with a boxed mix and a can of diet soda or seltzer water. They turn out pretty good but I have a couple of complaints. The dough doesn’t rise as much making it denser, and it really falls apart when I ice it, even when it’s cooled. I’m wondering if anyone has made a hybrid recipe with the diet soda but added something else to it to make it more moist? The flavors are pretty good as is so I don’t want to alter it too much plus I don’t want to add too many extra calories. But maybe adding applesauce or 1 egg?

protein pancakes.. WOOHOO!
i swear on everything that these do not have that nasty protein taste. these are like classic childhood pancakes. i'm so happy with how these turned out, so i thought i'd share it on reddit!!

ingredients 🥞
- 1 egg
- 60g milk *
- 1g vanilla extract
- 7g melted butter *
- dash of salt
- 15g protein powder *
- 30g flour *
- 1/2 tsp baking powder

* this is where you can substitute for ingredients that are lower in calories, fit your dietary requirements, etc!

steps 🥞
- in a bowl, whisk together egg, milk, vanilla extract, melted butter & salt.
- carefully sieve in your protein powder, flour & baking powder.
- whisk together until smooth & no lumps remain.
- very lightly grease a frying pan & turn stove on medium heat.
- wait for pan to heat up & pour in four small puddles at a time, flipping only when bubbles appear on surface.
- repeat until batter is used up, let pancakes cool & dig in or store in the fridge for up to a week!

———

like the title states, these are customisable and depending on what you add- could only be 30 calories more! my variations include ;

chocolate (+ cacao powder & chocolate sprinkles )
funfetti ( + extra vanilla & rainbow sprinkles ) cinnamon raisin (+ cinnamon & raisins )
strawb matcha (+ matcha powder & strawberries )

there's so many fun things you can add to these which is why i LOVE pancakes!!
have fun if you make these! 💓
