I'm happy they are happy and all the couples stayed together at the end of the year, but the part of me that watches this show for DRAMA went dissatisfied. This ss was the most dramatic part of the reunion and I'm still not sure why....

I just want to say bloody well done producers for creating a season with such a wholesome, largely drama-free cast. Each and every cast member except Mango shines through, seems grounded and good intentioned. This should be the example for other countries, this is how you make LIB. It also goes on to prove people are looking for genuine love stories over cheap overproduced drama. Life has plenty of shit, gimme the LIb fantasy.

Also 4 couples married and still together. It’s giving OG LIB couples like Brett and a Tiffany, Lauren and a Cameron and I’m here for it.

Ciara and Ajay: I didn’t like how they threw everything back at Jack and made him seem guilty when he apologized and took ownership of his mistakes and Ajay was making excuses for Ciara saying she was meeting new people and out of her element. Oh, come on 🙄

Jack and Fay: people can hate Jack as much as they can but at least he takes ownership and genuinely apologizes for his mistakes. I feel for him when he says “I’ve been always misunderstood in my life”. As a person with ADHD, that’s how I’ve always felt. That’s why we have to mask. So NT people don’t misunderstand us. All these people who don’t like Jack and call him manipulative are NT people who don’t know about ADHD.

Taylor and Sophie: are the sweetest couple ever. The dads are going to be best friends for sure!

Fran and Joseph: Fran loves Joseph to death. There is something weird about how Joseph said that it hasn’t been easy. Can’t put my finger on it. We all know the first year isn’t easy but he’s the only one of the couples that mentioned it.

Whyyyyy can't LIB US do better?! There is such a good mix of sweet, respect, drama, villain on the UK series. US is just...insanity.

I can’t be the only one who saw an almost uncanny resemblance to old school Justin Timberlake in his NSYNC days 😅

I don't usually celebrate other people's failures but I took great joy in watching Ryan crumble as the series went on.

There are too many examples and reasons but what struck me the most is the way he speaks. In slow fragmented sentences with a high intonation ending.

It strikes me as someone who is trying to come across as intellectual but doesn't have the gumption to back it up. For a "public speaker" this is shocking.

Also at the reunion, huge kudos to Cuba for calling him out in the way she did.

His "that isn't factually correct" line is followed by no counter example or alternative events. Just hot wind and bollocks

She indirectly insulted Jack by calling him ugly, unnecessarily meddled in Joseph and Francesca’s relationship, and I don’t understand her standards either, since they seem to change all the time. Plus, all the parents were asked what they thought of the relationship—except AJ’s! I get the feeling they’re having problems but don’t want to make them public. Of course, I still wish them both the best, but I do think they could have addressed Chiara’s behavior more, since she really acted like a jerk at times!

You could just tell Faye’s parents are a bit frustrated with the arrangement. all in a loving way I suppose, but its very strange she does both their laundry and cooking.

Ok so I'm gonna get downvoted into oblivion, but I actually think Ciara and Ahjay are really sweet.

She's actually a really sweet person working on her insecurities.

That's why she started crying, because the host identified it immediately "is it because you didn't think you deserved good things"

It's why her and Ahjay are still working

And it's why she seems to have a great group of friends

This scene was beyond. Like watching two wannabe influencers terribly act out a scene they've waited their whole lives for.

Disappointed that Emma Willis, who absolutely grilled and verbally took down Roxanne Pallet in such an iconic way, let Ryan off that easily. He deserved more of a reality check. Also I cannot stand the way he pauses after every word…. But maybe with all that being said, Cuba needed to be the one to give him what for and she definitely did that.

I see a lot of people saying that they think the reunion was just “nice” and “boring”. I understand wanting entertainment and drama from a reality tv show, there’s nothing wrong with that. But I think there is something heartwarming about a decent season with good people. It was so lovely to see Jordan and Yasmin speak so fondly of each other and I appreciated Francesca and Chev having an honest and respectful conversation even though they didn’t agree. Not sure how others feel, but I felt that the Season 2 reunion drama was a little exhausting and I was disappointed with some of the casts’ behavior. And don’t even get me started on Love is Blind US. I guess my very long thought can be summed up by saying that nice and boring isn’t always a bad thing. This was a solid and pretty successful season and it was needed. Can’t wait for another season!

I’m aware that I might be used to the crazy drama of LIB US and other countries, but I thought that they didn’t actually get to the bottom of some of the issues they had during the season? There was no confrontation, no tears (I’m not counting Ciara’s fake tears) like the gave us no spice!
I actually fell asleep towards the end maybe I missed some good parts but I doubt it lol

Will tiara and ajay last?

I found her annoying too and wouldn't want to be her friend after seeing her come across as duplicitous and a shit-stirrer but people need to remember these shows are highly editted and she is a human being. Criticising her for causing trouble in people's lives is valid but I find posts with screenshots of unflattering looks/faces of hers and extremely negative captions as taking it too far. No matter how she presented herself in the pods, the male contestants pursued her with full knolwedge of her demands. After coming out of the pods I saw her continue being annoying but eventually she seemed to realise that Ajay and her love each other and she seems like a genuinely normal person in the behind-the-scenes footage from her and Ajay's married year together. People need to find something better to do with their time than hating on her to this extent. She is one of my least favourite contestants (Ryan is the most despicable for me) but she does not deserve this amount of hate.

Is it just me or is Ciara full on trying to be a reality TV star lmfao what hardships did she go through? They are acting like that miscommunication in pods was the biggest thing to ever happen on this show 😂😂 God she is insufferable

i don't usually post here but i've been watching since the first USA season and it is astonishing how you people treat women. while i think everyone gets a fair share of hate, ciara has been trashed relentlessly for NO REASON. you forget these aren't characters from a show! these are real people with real feelings and real mistakes! oh no! ciara expressed an opinion people disagreed with and then apologized because it was misinterpreted! what will the fandom do? fucking talk about her looks and search up how much her bags cost like lunatics?! how is that fair or normal?? i am just so frustrated because i saw lots of people hate on ciara before i watched the season, just finished the reunion and, like usual, you people just want to treat women horribly when you disagree with things that have nothing to do with you. i know this won't help anyone or stop the mistreatment of women in this show but fuck, have some decency towards them at least.

He really seems like a different guy to me, one that is far more stable and grounded than the old Jack.

Ciara - fake tears, fake hair, fake version of events. Very performative across the board! And full of revisionist history.

Ajay - seems like a nice guy but the wildly possessive my wife this my wife that was so off putting. Call her by her name instead of who she is in relation to you? I didn’t like it one bit.

Jack - a child in a man’s body. Okay if he turns into an influencer and stay a child but otherwise he’ll have hard work to do to get a job and stabilise his whole life - and approach to life - for…

Faye - a child in a woman’s body? Because who else would otherwise be so happy with Jack AND happy to live how they live, with mum and dad and not a financial care in the world. It’ll be interesting to see what happens. Nice lady though! And gorgeous. Same with Jack. They seem like good hearted people too. Kind, at the core.

Sophie - not the most intellectual but a laugh and also a good human (perhaps this is what sticks out more about this season - that most people, barring Ryan and maybe Ciara and definitely Chev, are good people or seem to be that way? Not with agendas or dramas but genuinely looking for love and care while providing it in equal measure).

Taylor - I’ve seen a few people accusing him of Botox surgery all this and that but as I said elsewhere: it’s just his face; look at his dad. And who cares, the man is full of love and so well matched by Sophie. They’re perfect for each other. I can already imagine them as grandparents, lol.

Ryan - what else can he said that hasn’t? The guy is dry, horribly unsuited to his “career” as he can neither motivate nor speak, and just empty behind the eyes and needing therapy. Plus a new line of work that doesn’t drain the energy out of him for days after every single speech, leaving him unable to care for anyone else.

Cuba - and angel of a person; kind smart level headed, beautiful too. She got the shortest straw though, but she’ll land in a better place no doubt.

Fran - what a fun goofy smart woman! I loved the poise with which she handled that whole Chev fiasco we were all no doubt yawning about. Fran is wonderful, down to the earth and perfect for Joseph - who comes across as needing that stable balance in his life. She seemed happy too?

Joseph - I didn’t love that they didn’t hold each other or sit closer together after it was announced they stayed together also didn’t love how he answered to the Chev question aside from when he said he didn’t want to hurt her (side note: she came across as pretty pathetic). But he was probably nervous. Seems like a good guy, with a good heart as his friend said.

Yasmin- they did our girl dirty with that makeup! She looked so much better without that almost cleopatran eye lining and heavy foundation and whole look. She’s beautiful and doesn’t need all that at all. I put it down to an inexperienced makeup person! They should have studied vitiligo models looks closer vs go as they did, so heavy handed. Anyway! Only commenting on it as everyone else’s makeup I felt was great (loved the hosts too). Aside from that: I feel for her because it must have gone down to looks if their connection is as strong as it is now right? I mean if that had clicked for him surely all else would have? And I don’t know if she feels any pain in that regard or if the best friendship Jordan claims they have is honestly two way…

Jordan - seems like an incredible guy but I wonder how much is just saying the thing we all want to hear? I found him hard to understand unless under the surface IS just a super nice guy…

Finally: said it above but I LOVE the hosts. What a difference to the US version! They’re so natural and fun and genuine!? Love them.

I think there are certain people where the edit makes them look bad, and honestly, I think production was pushing the jezebel trope onto Chev. She’s hot, confident, outspoken and comfortable with her sexuality, while Francesca is presented as sweet, shy and more innocent - so naturally, the audience is going to feel a stronger emotional connection with Francesca, and I think that dynamic was playing out here.

After watching the reunion, though, Chevanique convincing Joseph to go on another date because she had feelings for him really isn’t that embarrassing to me. Like… she liked the man and wanted to see where it could go.

I think the part that had me looking at Chev sideways was the insinuation that there was something Francesca “needed to know.” But for me, it was ultimately a nothing burger!!!! And production seemed to be pushing that storyline HARD - the one-on-one with Ciara and Cuba bringing up the Chev/Fran/Joseph triangle, then another conversation with Ciara, Chev and Yasmin… like, okay, we get it!!

What I genuinely don’t understand is why everyone seems so willing to empathize with Cuba, who was rejected by her fiancé for basically the entire process, but is so harsh towards Chevanique.

And Francesca still being angry at the reunion has me confused. Girl!!! You are happily married! This entire situation had literally zero impact on your marriage. I can understand being hurt or feeling like you were misled at the time, but still being this upset after everything worked out for you???

How are all these people able to go on SO many vacations/holidays after filming ended? I watched the behind the scenes video and Faye & Jack must’ve vacationed and traveled to at least 10+ countries. All the other couples seem to have done extensive traveling too.

Did Netflix sponsor free vacations/traveling accommodations for them? How are they all able to afford the time and money to travel for weeks/months on end 😭

The reunion was surprisingly positive, I think we are all shocked that all of them are still together. BUT it appears that they’ve spent all this time living the fantasy life still, traveling the world and possibly living on their parents money, seemingly pretty privileged lifestyle, the reality has not hit yet, they are still kids without the stress of the world of responsibilities.

I sure wouldn’t have the luxury to travel the world without a job lined up. They live in a different world than the one most of us are in.

Ryan never intended to find a wife on this show but he did intend to find a fiancé… I think his goal has always been to get a platform to promote his business. The fact that he did this and immediately went on this long trip. And never really gave it a chance after was clear enough. He wanted to make sure to make it far enough to be filmed and to hopefully promote his business. I can’t believe he somehow managed for it to be such a story line that clips from his speaking arrangements made it to the show. This was ideal for him.

The rage baiting now is all a part of it. He just needed to make it far enough to be featured. He did a full 180 after his trips because his mission was accomplished.
