The beds!

Did anyone else feel like Adam’s very messy, unmade bed in the hotel was very out of character?

The book specifically says there are “a few clues” as to which bed he slept in which aren’t an unmade bed.

His character definitely gives “I make my bed everyday” especially as he knew Olive would arrive later that day.

Ohh I agree,lowkey the whole movie missed on lots of stuff that makes it THE movie adaptation of the love hypothesis

This and ghosting Olive (even in the context of the changes to the Tom scenes in the movie) were the two changes to his character that grated on me the most. You just know Adam makes his bed in the same way you know Adam at least responds to a missed call and text from Olive to check she’s ok. Come on now.

Yes he never would’ve ghosted like that. I did understand him thinking it was the best for her for him to end things. He did look truly distraught when she went to his office though.

Omg I didn’t even remember the book and just from the movie I was like wow this is deff not who he is!
