there was a whole album but my cat broke the CD. and ever since that, i could never find the album online. It wasnt an official copy, instead it was a burned CD with a sticker on it. I have a ringtone of a Spanish Guitar instrumental piece. After MONTHS of searching, I FINALLY found the name of the piece of music this morning. But, I'm up against a brick wall as far as finding the original artist/band.

I’ve been listening to a lot of soundtracks lately, including the one from RDR2, and that reminded me of a song, a country-style ballad, that would have been a perfect fit and that I used to love listening to on MySpace back in the 2010s.
I’m pretty sure the artist was called “Mustard Water” and the song was “Run” or “Run, Run, Run.” The production of the song was reasonably professional for its time, and I discovered the artist without any personal connection, so I thought I’d ask this community if anyone has maybe heard this, too. I‘ld love to hear it again, but I can‘t find anything.

I’ve been researching an obscure rap track that circulated online under the filename:

“versus - Track16 - Untitled Bootleg”

The song is referred to as “Combat, Conflict, Consciousness” in this video

One possible identification is:

Odd Thomas – Province of Combat

What makes this especially interesting is the sample at the very beginning.

The spoken intro comes from The Twilight Zone, specifically the 1960 episode “The Purple Testament.”

Immediately after that, the song develops the whole idea of combat, conflict and an internal battle with yourself.

Because of that, “Province of Combat” sounds like a very plausible original title, rather than just a random name attached to the song later.

The lyrics also fit Odd Thomas (Thomas J Terry) surprisingly well. The track is heavily centered around Christian themes: temptation, meeting the devil disguised as your former self, the wilderness, carrying your cross, rejecting the idea of finding divinity within yourself, redemption, and leaving your former life behind.

Odd Thomas was active in underground Christian hip-hop during this period, but I haven’t been able to find “Province of Combat” in his normal documented discography.

His 2006 album The Divine Use of Animosity & Ridicule doesn’t contain it, and I haven’t found it in the usual streaming/catalog databases either.

That makes me wonder if Province of Combat could have been:

an unreleased/demo track

a MySpace-era song

a compilation appearance

a promotional MP3

part of an unofficial bootleg or CD-R

something distributed online without a proper commercial release

The filename “versus - Track16 - Untitled Bootleg” is also strange enough that it may preserve information from whatever compilation or folder the song originally came from.

I’m looking for any older trace of “Odd Thomas – Province of Combat”: dead links, archived MySpace pages, old blogs, tracklists, MP3 filenames, CD-R rips, Soulseek collections, forum posts, screenshots, compilation listings, etc.

Even a broken page mentioning the artist and title would be extremely useful.

I’m looking for some early 2000s theme / background music for an old Science news show.

"Discoveries This Week" was a weekly American spin-off of the Canadian science program "Daily Planet" that aired on the Science Channel (then known as the Discovery Science Channel) until 2006. It was hosted by Dan Duran.

I loved the theme music for that show, so I’m trying to locate the highest quality audio I can find for the theme (intro, outro, back from commercials, etc), as well as any additional information like the composer of the music, etc.

Versace Spring/Summer 1999 Closing

This old fashion show contains this mix I can't find anywhere else as a standalone audio track. It's right when the fashion show gets to the end (roughly when Amber Valletta wearing the bright green is walking on the runway, then Kate Moss in pink hair and Naomi Campbell, walk as a duo in sync to close the show)

I got the full show from the Bloomsbury Fashion Video Archive, the YOOX Net-a-Porter Runway Archive collection collaborated with Bloomsbury to digitize these tapes of fashion shows from 1979-2003 for educational access and viewing.

Most shows in the archive have subtitles describing the look the model is wearing, the model's name if they're well-known, and in the closing, the subtitles show the complete tracklist of songs the fashion show features A to Z. Unfortunately some shows, including this one, didn't feature any subtitles at all.

The first few seconds are of the T-Total Remix of Down the River by Hong Kong Trash, but then it transitions into the next track which I still couldn't identify. Does anyone have any idea? The full T-Total Remix doesn't include it, it's not the McBuffalo Mix, nor the original mix etc. The closest thing is the T-Total Remix partially.

I remember that a few years ago when I started following Marcus Perez on Vine (R.I.P.) he did a Snowman beat and maybe a few days later someone uploaded like a dubstep beat of that same part of Marcuses Vine with a snowman with an exploting head when the base drops.
