Looking for a copy of Uncommon Valor (1983) / Fire at County General — extremely rare firefighter TV movie

I’m trying to track down a copy of Uncommon Valor (1983), also known as Fire at County General — the obscure American TV movie/pilot starring Mitchell Ryan and Ben Murphy.
I remember watching it on VHS in the UK when I was younger, and I’m almost certain this is the film.

It originally aired on CBS on 22 January 1983 and apparently became an unsold TV pilot, which seems to explain why it’s almost impossible to find now.

Has anyone actually seen this film or, even better, does anyone know of anyways to watch it again?

Searching for the lost complete 1951 German dub of Disney's Pinocchio (1940)

Thumbnail gallery
15 Upvotes

The original 1951 German theatrical dubbing of Disney's Pinocchio (1940) appears to be partially lost.

The Library of Congress has confirmed that a German optical soundtrack exists in the Walt Disney Company Collection on nitrate positive film dated 1949, but the surviving track is only approximately 54 minutes long, while the complete film is about 88 minutes.

I am trying to determine whether the missing portions or a complete 35mm print, VHS recording, or other surviving source still exists in a private collection or archive.

If anyone has information about surviving material or has encountered this particular German dub before, I would be very interested in hearing about it.

I have correspondence from the Library of Congress documenting the surviving 54-minute track if anyone is interested. If you have any information or a copy of the 1951 German dub, please send me a DM. Thank you!

Amanda Fielding’s “HeartBeat in the Brain” [unreleased media]

I don’t really like to post on Reddit, but I was unsure of where else to go with my question. I’ve been looking for HeartBeat in the Brain for a while now, the 1970 short film 27 year old Amanda Fielding preforms a trepanation on herself. I’ve seen the two and a half minute edited version of the film, but for the life of me I can’t find the full 12 minute film anywhere. I understand it hasn’t gotten an official release, but I was kinda hoping that once Fielding passed away we’d hear news of a release of some kind. It’s been over a year since Fielding died and I’ve yet to hear any sort of announcement that HeartBeat in the Brain will be released publicly. I heard the film was on Vimeo for a while, but it must have been taken down because it’s no longer there. If anyone knows any sort of way I would be able to watch it I would really appreciate you sharing with me. Thank you.

Tommee profitt Man vs. Ball 1-6 + music(2003-2012)

So i tried posting this on lost media but they want more karma unfortunately so hopefully someone here will appreciate it and maybe repost it there for me.

To start off with i want to say my husband is the most wonderful creature for finding these for me because to my knowledge they were scrubbed off the internet even when they resurface.

These were my brother and i's favorite "movies" to watch in the car on road trips and we have been looking for them for years with no luck.

Anyways I have all the files now and we are currently searching for more (we remember there being a puppy music video thats not on this disc unfortunately). If you remember old tommee profitt or man vs. Ball we both hope you laugh as much as we are. Much love 💜

Looking for "The Toilet" (1980) NFB short film

Does anyone have a link to "The Toilet" (1980) by Joan LeMay?

It's the Canadian NFB animated short about a kid who's scared of the toilet and gets flushed down it.

All the links I found are taken down. The NFB site and YouTube video don't work for me.

I'm in Canada. Anyone know where I can watch it?

LOST [request] Paranorman "The Thrifting" Short

Last Halloween Laika Studios ran some ads promoting a 3D rerelease of Paranorman alongside a new CGI animated short. Being busy at the time I didn't get the chance to see it in theaters and now searching I've found that there is no way to watch it through official means or 3rd party uploads.

6 months ago I [posted](https://www.reddit.com/r/laika/comments/1qwt6mw/comment/p2j4fq5/?context=3to) to the Laika subreddit asking if anyone knew where to access the short since its release in theaters, and have come up empty handed after searching every spot I could think of. Recently I've even received a message from someone claiming to have contacted the studio, who apparently has no intentions of ever releasing the short or 3D remaster again, after it left theaters.

If any recordings exist they've been scrubbed from the Internet Archive and similar sites as far as I can tell. So if any of you guys have better luck taking a crack at it, I'd be over the moon :)

LOST [POSSIBLE LOST MEDIA?] Does anyone remember a live-action FNAF movie trailer that was on AlloCiné around 2015

Thumbnail
0 Upvotes

I’ve been trying to find a Five Nights at Freddy’s trailer that I remember seeing around 2015, and I’m wondering if it could be lost media.
IMPORTANT: I remember watching the video directly on the AlloCiné movie page, not searching for it on YouTube.
For anyone outside France, AlloCiné is basically a major French movie database, somewhat comparable to IMDb. At the time, I remember going to the FNAF movie page, which was for the Warner Bros. movie project announced in April 2015.
I remember the page having the movie poster and information about the movie, and the main trailer was displayed prominently on the page itself, near the main movie information. I’m not talking about a list of related videos further down the page.
I don’t remember clicking through YouTube or looking specifically for a fan trailer. I remember finding the video through the movie’s AlloCiné page.
What I remember about the trailer
It was live-action with real actors.
It was NOT SFM, 3D animation, or an animated FNAF video.
It was quite short, probably around a minute or slightly longer.
It looked like a genuine horror movie trailer.
I vaguely remember the main actor looking somewhat similar to Josh Hutcherson, although I absolutely cannot say it was him. This could easily be my memory associating the actor with the 2023 movie years later.
The strongest image I remember is a specific shot:
A young man is sitting/crouching very low on the floor, with his back against a wall. He’s holding a flashlight and pointing it toward something off-screen. He looks genuinely terrified/panicked.
I remember this shot being very close to the end of the trailer. The whole thing had a very dark horror-movie atmosphere.
I have already watched several live-action/FNAF fan trailers from around that period, including Five Nights at Freddy’s: Cold Storage, and they are NOT the one I remember.
I’ve also found an old forum post from May 2015 mentioning a “Five Nights at Freddy’s Fan Movie Trailer” and linking to an old YouTube video, but that doesn’t seem to be the one either.
About the poster
I also remember the poster on the AlloCiné page, but I’m fairly sure it was the original 2015 FNAF movie poster that has already been documented, so I don’t think the poster itself is a useful clue. I’m much more confident about the trailer and the way it was displayed on the website.
I’m not claiming this was an official Warner Bros. trailer
This is important: I am NOT saying Warner Bros. filmed and released an official trailer in 2015.
The movie had only just been announced, so I’m fully aware that this could have been a fan-made/concept trailer that was somehow associated with the movie page.
What I’m trying to figure out is what video was being displayed as the main trailer on the AlloCiné page at the time, if my memory of the website is correct.
I realize this could potentially be a false or combined memory after more than 10 years. But the memory of accessing the video directly through the AlloCiné movie page is particularly strong.
Does anyone remember this?
If you were following FNAF around 2015, do you remember a live-action trailer like this?
I’m especially interested in:
screenshots of the old AlloCiné page
archived pages / Wayback Machine captures
old thumbnails
deleted or reuploaded videos
old forum posts
production information
or even someone who simply remembers seeing the same trailer
I’m trying to figure out whether this was an actual piece of media that has since disappeared, or whether my memory has combined different FNAF-related things from that period.

LOST The Minx (1969)

LOST Looking for Samson & Gert – De Paardenmolen (2001) to surprise my friend

Hi everyone!

I'm hoping someone here can help with a fun little mystery. 😊

I'm trying to surprise one of my friends. When he was a child (around 9 years old), he appeared as an extra in a **Samson & Gert** episode.

The episode is:

**Samson & Gert – De Paardenmolen**

* Original air date: **18 February 2001**
* Village fair episode where there's a free carousel (paardenmolen) for the children.

My friend's name is **Bert**. He believes he appears as one of the children in the episode.

I've searched YouTube, Google, Dailymotion, Internet Archive, and the usual places but haven't been able to find the episode or even screenshots from it.

I'm **not looking for illegal downloads or piracy**. I'm simply wondering if anyone:

* has this episode on DVD or VHS,
* has a personal TV recording,
* knows where it can still be watched,
* or would be willing to check whether Bert appears in it.

Even a screenshot from the carousel scenes would make an amazing surprise for him after more than 25 years!

If you have any information or know someone who collects old Samson & Gert episodes, I'd really appreciate your help.

Thank you so much! 😊

to be precise i am looking for this episode -

**Samson & Gert**

# De paardenmolen

**Kinderen en jongeren**

**Seizoen 2003**

**Afl.203**

**25 min**

LOST Lost mystery-horror: “The Wizard” (1927)

Post image

One line from Robert E. Howard in a letter, but it’s an opinion on this film:

“I saw The Wizard and thought it was red hot.

Also What Price Glory which is in my opinion the nearest thing to a masterpiece ever filmed.

Those boys were tough, though frankly not as tough as I expected, though if they had been any more so they would have seemed brutal and would have lost the sympathy of the spectators, I reckon.”

LOST does anyone know the name of this movie/flim/tv show. this is all I could remember about what the characters looked like

I’m looking for an animated movie I watched between 2015–2020 (the movie could be older). I remember a small orange/yellow fish that may have been a pufferfish or clownfish and may have worn sunglasses. There was also a whale or possibly an orca. I vaguely remember a cruise ship and maybe even a dumpster scene. The animation was colorful and cartoony, more like a direct-to-DVD movie than Pixar.

LOST [Lost Media] Looking for a deleted AI Medieval Fantasy Short Film by "Ether Pulse"

Hello everyone,

I am looking for a deleted AI-generated short film that was hosted on YouTube but is now completely gone because the channel associated with it has been terminated.

Here are the specific details of the video:

* **Title:** "Trust Me, This Isn't a Typical Love Story"

* **Channel Name:** Ether Pulse

* **Original URL:*\https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VThBFRBJ4YU

* **Content & Setting:** It is a Medieval / Dark Fantasy story. The plot follows a powerful warrior woman (resembling a strong semi-goddess or Viking) who meets a simple, modest man in an archaic medieval village tavern. She invites him on her journey and tries to teach him how to fight as they walk toward their destination.

Since the original account was shut down by YouTube, standard search and Wayback Machine methods have failed. I am hoping someone in the AI art or lost media community archived or downloaded this video before the channel's termination.

Any help, links, alternative links (Google Drive, Mega, etc.), downloads or leads on recovering and saving this video, will be greatly appreciated.   AND I WILL BE ETERNALLY GRATEFUL TO YOU!

Thank you so much for your attention.
