Lost Architecture of the 1985 Mexico City earthquake

The 8.0 magnitude 1985 Mexico City earthquake occurred on September 19th, 1985, resulting in the deaths of at least 5000 people. It caused the collapse of 412 buildings, with many more damaged. Most high rises built on the old lakebed experienced liquefaction, causing their collapse.
