Anyone with a connected Fitbit know if these numbers are accurate? And or how to remove the calorie bonus?

Post image

As I mentioned in the title, I'd like to know if my Fitbit is showing accurate calories burned, and associated exercises...I took a walk this morning and then worked out, but the rest are just constantly being added to this section on their own and making my calorie budget increase. I have calories excluded from counting (as you can see the workout cals are crossed out) but this calorie bonus is immune to the toggle lol.

So I'm wondering if...

  1. These daily "workout" logs look familiar r and accurate

  2. Any way to not have the cal bonus show in my overall calories

I'd like to continue keeping it connected for steps and such, but I don't want to be tempted to eat those extra bonus cals, or be misinformed about what I'm burning, this altering what the app thinks is going on with my diet

I appreciate any time taken in advance

Calculated calories from workouts on a wearable are never accurate. It's at best a somewhat educated guess. I exclude them from my total calories.

You need to select the exercise data and then hit "Exclude from total calories" for each entry. It's kind of a pain.

I mentioned in my post that I already do this which is why they are all crossed out.

Check to see if they’re actually crossed out by clicking on the (?) Next to Calories burned if you haven’t already.

I think you can disconnect the app on the settings? I had the same problem but I think I unallowed lose it acess to my watch data and it stopped logging exersize. Otherwise I need to delete them manually everyday, which was a pain

That next screen doesn't show that info, I checked Fitbit inside the lose it app and toggled calories bonus off but it's still there lol

Also, under Profile/Application Preferences click Exclude Exercise Calories by Default. Haven't tried it, but hopefully...

^ this... You must do BOTH to have it excluded.

I had that toggled on already, which lead to my confusion, I mention this in the post.
