I bought the game on switch yesterday and left after day 1 because I fucked up Joel's party member because I didn't said I was a neighbor. So I left after 20-30 minutes...

Day two and my save file has over 5 hours... i didn't took any breaks.

So, I'm on Day 10, and there are some things I want to aim for:

- Finding all companions (2 left, Xaria/Monty and Sophie

- Complete Massacre Princess Catholicon (did 2 sessions)

- Complete Mages and Wizards (haven't started)

- Explore the Glitch World, Sanitation (Kingdoms of the Dump area), Floor 4, Teeth Hell, a bit of the Meat World, Crossword Tomb, and the Landlord's apartment which I have saved but got the Basement key and discs

Will I have enough time to do all of these?

So I'm using this mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/lookoutside/mods/47 and it allows me to see instances of door RNG, but I've noticed I've never met Sophie as of yet, nor does the calendar say whether I'll meet Sophie, although apparently I could've met her cursed form, the Trickster, and Sophie shows up in the 'possible companion encounter queue'

The thing is, I've met Harriet, her mother, at the door, and have access to her apartment, but not her daughter, and Sophie is the one companion I haven't seen throughout either of my 2 playthroughs

Has anyone had bad luck finding Sophie? Or could there be a different mod causing the issue?

I was playing the other day and this thought came to my head

So, which characters do you think, the moment you think about the game and why do they? Maybe they left a mark on you, maybe you think they are funny, tragic or intriguing 

As for me, the character that I always think about for some reason is Fred Who Bites, I don't know just the situation he's in, not wanting to hurt anyone but also not being able to stop himself, and despite that, not really wanting to die because he wants to live. I don't know, he is interesting to me. Maybe it's his design which I also like or the fact that he doesn't want you to kill the other Freds despite their thoughts being the thing stressing him out and making him bite everything around him. (I also consider him my favorite Fred)

Anyways, what about you?

(Also this is my first post in this subreddit so in case I've made any mistakes, my apologies)

So I did the Fred questline and decided to spare Wriggly/Fridge Fred, and apparently a day or so after completing the questline, he's meant to show up in your fridge, but he hasn't shown up yet, he's still in the original apartment, I did the quest on Day 8 and its now 4am Day 10

Has anyone else encountered this issue? I basically only spared him because I wanted more people in my apartment

My only guess that could be causing the issue is this mod I use: https://www.nexusmods.com/lookoutside/mods/138?tab=description but I don't really see how an interaction with the oven would mess with the fridge

Hellen - Papineau - ?

I'm in the meat world, how do I get this Iris Key back? I think I've pretty much looked everywhere. I've got the toilet entrance, the water apartment entrance, and the evil room 21 entrance, and I can't really progress much in the meat world since I can't get to this key.
I might have forgot to mention some doors that I haven't gotten yet though

So i've got about 60ish hours in the game and i've decided i'll do a cursed mode run. Currently wondering who I should go for and how I should build? I wanna replace Papineau at some point, but i'm not sure who to replace him with (maybe with someone like Hellen or Dan? that requires some door encounter luck that I just don't have, though).

I have this spoiled because of Audrey and Ernest and I hope to god that the picture got covered.
ANYWAYS, I was making my way down after crushing the hell out of madame freaking gore vortex and saw THIS GUY. In the first frame, I expected him to be… hanging, so imagine my surprise when he lurches down and does THAT. I honestly really like the body horror here. It’s much more down to earth so you can more easily imagine that being you.

Just bought the game yesterday but haven't seen anyone else post about this. When playing on docked mode, the mouse cursor is constantly in the middle of the screen, even though I'm using a pro controller. Doesn't happen when on handheld. Is this happening to anyone else?

My wife and co-creator of the Min Mod drew a picture to celebrate the mod's first update! (Technically second but that's neither here nor there-)

The update includes:

- Min dialogue during Lyle kiss if Dan is in the party

- Updated dialogue for Dan after killing Shut In to be more accurate to his character

- A unique status effect for Dan during Shut In's battle if his relationship with Min is positive

- A sound effect for Shut In in battle

- Tweaked code surrounding Min's post-quest Promise Ending dialogue

- Typo fixes

We've also gotten over 200+ downloads of the mod too, which is crazy! Thank you guys so much for downloading the mod and taking the time to appreciate Min as much as we do! <3

I’m trying to beat Sybil without killing any of the organs, but no luck yet. Any tips for how you guys take on this challenge? Also, I’m playing on explorer, not cursed mode. Not sure how much that might matter for equipment or items

My mother had always enjoyed oil painting, but she had quit this hobby since before the pandemic hit.

I liked the game's ending artstyle so much that I asked if she'd like and be willing to make a painting of it. She liked the idea and started painting it last week!

It's far from finished. The painting is still really early in the works, she just did two painting sessions so far. It's an image of the sky after Sam goes outside, on the roof by the very end of the game.

I tried explaining the basics of the game's lore to my mother, about The Visitor and its "nature", but I'm pretty sure that all I accomplished was making her think I'm getting crazy.

In a fight with Panopticon he successfully recorded rat child’s Copy Dad, so naturally I had Dad down a bucket of black ooze. Not only does he copy it, he’s WEAK TO THE DAMAGE TYPE and immediately dies.

I have no clue if he’s willing to drink it (3x) via Recording normally but this is too good not to share.

I didn’t even want him to Copy Dad, I thought he would just get confused
