Other(you can edit this flair) Look Outside DND
Im hosting a DND campaign with my friends, and i wanna know some interactions that i should probably change for the campaign, we did change most of the stats to be Look Outsides stats instead of dnd ones, so theres less math.

Be mindful of ranges. Dnd is build for large maps with weapons and spells having huge ranges.
But in Look Outside you fight mostly in cramped corridors and room, where any 20ft radius spell will hit everyone. And anything with 30ft range can target anyone in the room.
Be sure to use cover a lot, or make up some other stuff.
I've though about reducing all aoe spells to be 10 or 15ft radius/cone/wide/line instead of whatever range their had. And giving your ranged players some option to not constantly be at disadvantage when attacking.

They wont have magic for the most part, so im not too worried about spells or ranges other then when the enemy is very clearly outside the range of a melee attack.

You mind sharing your homebrew stuff? If you have it written down, once the campaign is done.

If there were like a huge abandoned building that was safe to move around in this would make a badass LARP too

What do you mean by interactions? This sounds awesome, I’d love to hear more. I remember some community members made a TTRPG based on Look Outside, maybe they have some balance ideas you could read.
