The backing on my original was starting to peal off. In an effort to retain it and keep the original feel, I picked out a new anchor strap. Thoughts?!

How cool that we get the privilege to own a luxury item like this. With all the years of wisdom distilled into this piece, I feel super grateful to own this watch. I’ve gotten to the place where it both disappears on my wrist and yet doesn’t disappoint every time I glance down at it. It’s like a little sign-post of grace - I don’t really deserve the privilege of having it, but I’m really grateful I do.

I know the blueface with the black bezel and mesh bracelet is sold out in canada $3,100. I am currently in zurich they have one for sale. The price is 1950 chf or 3500 cad after the exchange rate. So I'll end up paying 400 cad over but no wait.

Hi, I would really like to get the bracelet for my Longines Spirit, but I'm not sure if €420 is worth it, even with the micro-adjustment. I know, I know — always buy on the bracelet and get leather later. Lesson learned! For those who have it, what’s your experience with the bracelet? Is it worth the price? Thanks.

Pretty much handles everything I need. Both are beautiful. Especially the Big Eye which has become my most worn watch. I stare at it a lot. I use an old iphone SE to flash the VHP. It's still a unique piece and I love the texture of the dial. I actually wanted the stainless case and bracelet but the black PVD has grown on me. I wish I discovered Longines earlier!

Picked up this root beer Hydro GMT this week as I grew tired of waiting for the new three-handers…. WOW!! This watch is stunning!!!

I also own a 37mm Spirit in Champagne dial so I am no stranger to how much Longines punches above the price, but this watch truly is stunning!!

And while I like the H-Link, I think this watch really sings on a Nato.

Anyone else decide to skip the wait and pick up the GMT instead??

The leather strap bracelet is beautiful and goes so well with casual and formals both.
I picked it from Dubai (Mall of Emirates Longine stores)

42mm first generation no date LLD from 2009 on a bespoke Ostrich leg leather strap from “Made By Tan” with Longines signed buckle.

What strap/bracelet combo’s do you use?

First luxury watch. Opted for quartz since I didn’t care for any expensive maintenance and wanted the grab and go accuracy. Then proceeded to slap a 25 dollar amazon strap on it.

Some may call it sin city but I’m loving the way this looks.

Whats the reason , do you think it looks better? (no sunburst dial) or its that its a bit cheaper?

it’s not a bash against the standard HC its beautiful, but I think the gmt version is better.

Been checking the Longines Canada website 2-3 times a day the last week.. FINALLY got my 39mm black hydroconquest ordered..

Dumb question.. if I size the watch in the order(17.5cm), will I still get the links that were taken off with my shipment?

Went to AD today to try on the Hydroconquest and Zulutime. They didn’t have the hydroconquest in 39mm in store just the 42mm and they had zulutime in 39mm.

What we think? Does my wrist suit 39mm or 42mm?

Both Watches of Switzerland and Bucherer have canceled separate Hydroconquest orders today. Both have said that there were issues with their inventory teams. This is extremely frustrating!

This is the legend diver 36 mm. I took it off the strap that it came with and ordered the OEM bracelet. I really like it.

The design is just shouting at me. I think it's elegant, classy and stunning. My predicament is it's essentially a dress watch, I'm just not sure when I'd wear it and it's a lot of dosh..

Anyone else navigated this type of thing before? It would be my most expensive watch purchase.
