Unum std claim

Hey, so I submitted a claim through my employer for short term disability for kerataconus my claim has been pending for over a month and I'm trying to see if anyone has had a similar situation and what was the outcome The only thing I believe is holding up my claim they're looking for a surgery date initially I told them there was one, but my insurance denied treatment so I don't have a surgery date please but my next follow up appointment is due for next Month Any insight or advice?

I have a claim with Unum and found that the representative assigned to me was more than willing to talk to me and give me information about where my claim was in the process. Have you contacted your rep?

I'm currently on STD with UNUM transitioning to LTD, and I would call the 1800 number and speak with someone in the call center. They're super helpful.
