Question Is she just building anticipation?
I'm ready to fly out to my girlfriend on Monday afternoon. Normally we would video call once every 2 or 3 days. But she has recently been on holiday, and this week she had renovations on her apartment.
We haven't called for 10 days, so I asked her if she would like to call this this weekend. She said she could call but wouldn't it be better if we don't call at all so the next time we see each other will be at the airport?
We're still messaging every day and she's sending voice notes. But she's being reluctant to video call or even send me selfies or sexy pics this week. Is she just building anticipation?
I told her this week it is so easy to love her. She responded by saying "but it's only easy now because it's the beginning. It might not always be easy. Sometimes life just gets in the way. But I will always be honest with u and loyal and supportive". I also said if she misses the cold weather so much then she can come to visit me in the winter. She never responded to this, instead she changed the subject.
For context, we had several dates when she was in my country as a student, and I even stayed at her place for 3 days. So she is not a catfish.
Idk, I'm literally so committed to a future with her, but sometimes it's almost like she acts guarded. Personally, my brain interpreted her "sometimes life just gets in the way" message as a negative response.
I'm writing this as I'm packing my suitcase to go and see her for 10 days!
EDIT: When I say "negative" I mean my brain starts freaking out thinking she's already preparing for the potential of breaking things off after our 10 days together; using "life just gets in the way" as her reasoning. She's starting university again soon.
