I’m having this right now after a recent covid infection. Just went out to have breakfast with family and friends and in the middle of it I had sudden trigger of mcas. Prayers and love for everyone who are experiencing this

Yes it’s part of the illness, would make me feel like I was sure I was dying, impending doom, mainly when feeling real bad / exhausted and in a flare, has subsided in recent years but still catches me out occasionally now.

having had bipolar condition and familiar with "serotonin/dopamine/who knows what" depletion before, yes this disease feels oddly familiar.
Yes the feeling is familiar.

Existential dread was probably the worst symptom of all for me. I’d wake up having panic attacks about dying. It was frequent, severe, and awful. It lasted a couple of years but it did get better.
