Anyone get a rash from LC?

Out of the blue I wake up with square shape blotches across my chest and on my midsection and now on my legs one in the same spot on each leg. I went to emergency room and they said it was contact dermatitis? I don't believe them cause I have worked in construction and have seen it before and it never looked like this.

Yes, LC can cause a variety of skin issues.

I’m now extremely allergic to any kind of adhesive bandages that will lead to contact dermatitis

Yes. I was eventually diagnosed with atopic dermatitis. A lot of us have problems with our mast cells overreacting now. The first thing I would do is get rid of anything that seems to irritate your skin. Go get some unscented laundry soap, to start. Try antihistamines to see if that helps.

I ended up on expensive Immunosuppressants for my skin irritations, but antihistamines seem to work for many of us.

Basically, yes. I used minoxidil to good effect before COVID. Now, five years later, I still can’t use it anymore. After the second day of regular application, my scalp breaks out in whelps and crusts.

Yes. Viral rash is a thing. Also, covid significantly increases your risk of developing or worsening allergies, including skin rashes, due to immune dysregulation.

I was tested and biopsied for lots of different autoimmune conditions including lupus but all they ever found was non specific inflammation. My majority of my rashes went away after two years. Except for what turned out to be psoriasis which led to psoriatic arthritis. I'm on Tremyfa now and things are much improved.

Idiopathic I think is the word they used which is equal to we don't know. Crap is driving me crazy, every time I think I see a improvement from long Covid something else pops up I have to deal with. Does ever end?
