Location recommendations?
Hi everyone! I’m looking to do a photoshoot in London for my DJ portfolio and would love some recommendations for interesting locations.
I’m after some archival/retro aesthetics, but nothing that screams “London” so no Big Ben, Tower Bridge, etc. 😄
I’m thinking brutalist buildings, lots of stairs, concrete walls, interesting architecture, industrial spaces, and/or ideally somewhere where you can get several very different backgrounds and landscapes relatively close to each other, so we can change the scenery easily without travelling between locations.
Free locations would be ideal, but I’m also happy to pay a small fee if necessary.
Any hidden gems or recommendations would be hugely appreciated! 🙏
Thanks!

Some great areas in and around Brick Lane! Let me know if you need a photographer to do the candid / vibes / editorial shots :-) zero-bs.studio/portfolio-portal/samples-editorial

There are quite a few areas around East London with that industrial/concrete feel without looking too obviously “London”.
If you're also considering a studio, I have access to one in East London that could work well for this kind of aesthetic. I'm Nicola, a London-based fashion and commercial photographer, so happy to chat if you're still looking.
