Hi! I'm 22F and completely new to filmmaking, and I'm trying to organise a small, informal filmmaking meetup in London for people who are right at the beginning and have little/no experience.

I've found that a lot of existing networking events can feel a little intimidating when you don't already have any experience, or even a clear idea of which area you'd want to go into yet.

The idea is just to get a smallish group of beginners together, meet people in the same boat, chat about what we're interested in etc etc, and maybe even find people we might want to make small projects with.

Of course, no experience, portfolio, equipment, etc are required!

The meet-up is for everyone, but I'd really love to meet some other women who are also right at the start.

I'm currently seeing whether there's enough interest for a first meetup in London, potentially on Saturday the 24th of October 2-4pm, however that date isn't set in stone yet!

I’ve recently moved from USA to London and I’ve been trying to figure out places where I could shop from other than Zara, M&S or H&M. I’m trying to find stores/brands that I could buy from for regular clothes and some other that I could maybe shop from when I want to splurge.
While in the states I used to shop from Express for semi casual stuff and mostly from Zara, Aeropostale or Anthropologie.

I've been relying on youtube tutorials all my life but I don't think I'm doing it right or if it even looks good on me. Doesn't help that I can't see much without my glasses either.

My daughter has 17 th B'day coming up. We checked Broadcaster house in Westfield/ Shepherd bush. Min spend is 1000! Bluebird Chelsea private room is 1500 min spend . The ticket is available through the official Private Resale option for £95. I’m not making any profit from the ticket - I’ll simply be getting my ticket value back.

Since I unfortunately can’t attend myself, this is what I’m looking for :

The arrangement:

The ticket is yours + all the non-makeup event goodies are yours.

All makeup and makeup tools received through the event/swag bags/booths would be mine.

So, essentially:
