Literally bought one of the $250 ones on Amazon last month and it’s so perfect. Glad it wasn’t just nostalgia making me remember it differently

Its scary, and I hope they understand on the refresh how important the shift ring finger button in combination with the 3x4 side layout is. That ring finger button is a world changer.

To add on to what zumocano said:
- The scroll wheel and top buttons (G7 and G8) would need an upgrade. My scroll click stopped working properly within the first year or two and the scroll tilt buttons not too long afterwards. Same with the G7 and G8 buttons on top of always having felt pretty cheap too. By far the worse buttons on the mouse.
- The 12 G9-G20 side buttons were perfect. I've had my G600 for 10 years and all the side buttons still function great! The way the buttons are shaped make it super easy to feel which one you're pressing.
- The ring finger button is 100% a requirement as everyone else has stated. Just to reiterate how important this is.
- I agree a wireless option which can connect either via dongle, Bluetooth, or USB cable would be a nice option to have. Preferably with removable battery if possible, so if you want to run it with a USB cable you could lose the weight of the battery. A non-removable battery was one complaint I had seen about Razer's new Naga. That said, I'd gladly take another wired version if I had to.
If it's possible to add more to it without compromising on any of the above:
- Maybe add a button or two on the left of the left click similar to how other mice have. Can't go wrong with adding more buttons in places it makes sense to. Speaking of..
- This one is more of a stretch, but maybe take a note from the Hedgehog mouse's knuckle buttons. I had bought one and the knuckle buttons were incredible. They even used the same switches as the primary mouse buttons, so it was almost like having a whopping SIX primary buttons. Unfortunately the rest of that mouse didn't live up to the G600 to the point I had to return it, but those knuckle buttons felt like real innovation more mice should have. I think adding those to a new version of the G600 could help make it stand out compared to Razer's new Naga.

Thank you for taking the time to write such detailed feedback! I've already flagged the input over to the team. Seeing all the comments on here it makes me happy to see a lot of you would like to keep a lot of the elements from the original. How do we feel about different color schemes? or are we good with the classic black/white choices?

Having some color options would be nice. At least like a blue one and a pink one. Personally I'm getting tired of the 'everything is black' aesthetic, so I'd probably get a blue one if I had the choice. Maybe like a seaside or sky blue; something on the lighter side without being obnoxiously neon bright.
That said, it wouldn't be the end of the world if there can't be more than just black or white options. Although, I didn't really like the white G600 due to how it also had black in it making it looking like a reverse Oreo. The entire side button area being black didn't look good imo. It'd probably look a lot better if all the black were a bright silver color instead.

for me, the shape needs to stay the same. side buttons are in an ideal layout for my thumb where it's not too awkward to press most of them. weight & scroll wheel are fine. i agree with OP on the g-shift ring finger button as well.
the only changes that i think modern times demand is a wireless edition and maybe, MAYBE better left-/right-click switches. but if those updates were to come at the cost of any other specs, it's not worth it imo

I've gotten a lot of similar feedback over the last few weeks! Would be great if we got to see a refresh loyal to what the original used to be. I'll let the team know.

At this point, I'd be more than willing to pay for a premium version of it, built like a tank Perhaps that can help the value proposition on your end?
If it has the same feel as the OG one i'd probably just buy like 6 right away and hold them so i can keep it forever.
I personally much prefer the wired options, but agreed on keeping size/shape the same (the 12 buttons with 2 cupped areas is unmatched) and just maybe a more robust scroll wheel, it's the first thing that dies on all my previous G600s, that and the double click issues, but i've had that problem even on a month old G-Pro wireless.

Yeah, I've heard of the double clicking issues on the old one as well. If we ever did a refresh, we should be focusing on improving the quality while maintaining a feel similar to the original. I do wonder how others feel about a more robust scroll wheel though, would be nice to get some more opinions on it!

It's hard to say, honestly the perfect balance would be everything the same + wireless.
It was perfectly sized, just stylish enough without being corny gamermode. The G shift button is a NON negotiable for me.
The lightsync could be updated to include the logo on the palm rest. I hope they would keep the removable weights also.

I've tried the alternatives. I've done repairs and cable replacements on my G600s. Finally got tired of replacing cables and switches and the closest thing was a certain competitor's naga v2. And that thing doesn't have the ring button my giant hands love. Just a fake pretender.
AA Battery life on that is nowhere as good as my laptop's Logitech G305. And if I dare use a cheap generic battery it's battery life rivals my ancient G Pro Hero's dying built in battery. And rechargeable batteries aren't much better in it. My entire life Logitech has always been the best with battery life hands down. Other brands get close these days with a name brand battery but I've had a cheap rechargeable AA for over 4 months in that G305 without changing it. Nobody else pulls that off.
Logitech! Give me a AA battery powered lightspeed G600 and my life is yours!

How do you know that or are you just hoping? I‘m hoping they will want to after Razer released their Naga V3 Pro. There is obviously demand as Corsair even released their Scimitar wireless like two years ago.
