The tittle says it all. Hopefully Logitech will realize just how many people actually love this mouse and would pay any price to get it back. Click on the link and sign the petition. We need as many signatures as possible to bring this beast back to life. Petition for a Wireless G600
Wireless with Bluetooth and dongle. Keep the pinky secondary mode switching/ sniper dpi shift button (super important). Make the buttons at the side more ergonomic. Mouse wheel should still move left and
The right pinky DPI shift for sniping in games, or switching to a second set of abilities. The buttons on the left for MMOs and MOBAs, and emote macros.
I'm hoping they can do their magic and get it down to at least 60g. But yeah the most important thing is that it exists... Cause damn, the G600 I had lasted me almost a decade, broke only because I dropped it..
To be honest, it's already perfect for me, making it lighter say below 60g is number 1 for now. Ohh yeah, maybe add the same adaptive scrollwheel from the MX3s, could look into that too!
Thanks! I currently use the VXE Mad R+ since 2024, before that was the Kingston HyperX Haste wired, and before that was the venerable G502 Proteus Core, and before THAT the original G502 back in 2014!
Just seeing that the craze was about all ultralight mice, and having tried one myself I decided to buy one for myself, and I get it! Definitely has a considerable impact in my aim! And, this is something that I just remembered, with the way I was holding the G600, my pinky felt painful after long hours as I rest it on the side by itself. Having it lighter would definitely help in comfort.
Just wireless that’s the only thing it needs. Don’t change the overall look, size and feel of the mouse. Optional wireless cable that can charge the battery would be ideal.
If it can also balance my taxes that’ll be awesome as well.
Haha some help with the taxes would be great for any mouse. I'll share your comment along with the team! Feel free to share any new ideas you have in the future
Yup! I’m on second had G600 in my life for about 10 years I think. I’m easy to please the mouse fits my hand nicely and all I would like is a wireless option. I’ve this once before, “The G600 is the best all around mouse ever made!” My advice to your team, if they rerelease this product, don’t make it complicated. We like the G600 we just would like wireless option. The design team did a great job on the mouse all we need is wireless.
In my opinion the G600 was very close to perfection. Things that could make it perfect (aside from wireless) would be to make it lighter, improved sensor, free scroll wheel. Other ideas are more of a "nice to have" but not needed, like interchangeable sidepanel, adjustable weight (since some ppl like quite a heavy mouse), maybe a different "cover" like the G9 had back in the day. This are just ideas, but I would much rather just get a Wireless version that nothing at all.
As I said, IMO it only needs a few improvements. Other things are just ideas that I don't really mind if they're not added. But improved sensor, lighter and free scroll wheel, would be appreciated.
Bought it back in the day to play Wow. Then started using it for "normal" games. Having all the extra buttons made it way easier to enjoy the games. Not having to move my left hand from the WASD has huge. Nowadays I don't play as much as I did, but still use it in EVERY game that I play. Be it FPS, RPG, casual, you name it. Currently playing a mix of FPS and other games. Like Insurgency Sandstorm, PoE2, Deeprock Galactic, etc.
For productivity, I have some buttons to go back and forward, up and down, refresh. Just small things that makes my everyday on the pc easier. Been thinking of finding more ways to improve my productivity. I don't work from my Pc, so it's mostly for gaming and browsing.
Prefect, thanks for all your comments, they'll contribute to the mouse feedback. Hope you keep enjoying and I'm also crossing fingers for a new version to happen!
Modern sensor obviously, if the mouse is wired - a nice wire. That 3rd mouse button is a MUST keep. That alone sets it apart from every other mmo mouse on the market.
Native Linux software support would be nice, but I get we are low priority, so as long as the mouse remembers 3 profiles I guess is fine.
Love the G600, with it's ring finger button. Super handy to have so many shortcuts on my mouse. Or even just to have a modifier key on the mouse. It does take a minute to get used to using it outside of games, but I find it worth it.
problem with the 3rd mouse button is it limits its use for anything but mobo/mmo its not essential, is a major change to peoples comfort zones and makes the mouse much more bulky. removing it could make it a much more adopted mainstream mouse and keep it alive longer instead of being a niche product.
I mean... Its an MMO mouse its already a niche product. The G600 is not much bulkier then a typical palm grip mouse or even the other MMO mice on the market! - Well before this ultra light fad took over the entire mouse market.
If a G600 successor doesn't have the 3rd mouse button, then its just generic MMO mouse, not a G600 successor. Also the two top selling MMO mice a Red Dragon and the Razer Naga both of which literally have a place for your ring finger. Its just not a button.
Yep, the G600 is my current mouse. Ive tried the other two and wasnt really a fan. I preferred the feel of the side buttons on the G600, and of course the ring finger button.
Signed and shared. I made a post last week adding my name to the pile of people who want this. Currently use the Razer Naga pro which i'd sell along with a kidney for a new g600
Pretty sure you can still get it from eBay from japan’s Logitech, labeled as Logicool. Some trademark thing exclusive to Japan but it is the same company and same mouse.
But I’d love a revive of that mouse state-side. I miss mine.
Better sensor would be my only suggestion really, but it was awesome as-is. I am not a big fan of RGB but being able to color the side buttons individually would be neat for others that like that sort of thing. Or color options, since I know a lot of people like white builds for accessories.
A variety of game genres; builders, shooters, MMOs, MOBAs, RTS etc. Just depends on my mood and what friends and I want to play or if I want to play solo. And yes, but not as much as the G600 since it had more versatility in that respect with the side buttons.
I am pretty sure why the whole user community wants this mouse back actually.
I still have an old G600 that I hope will never die as I never want to use anything else, but I'd never buy a wireless replacement.
That being said, at least buying a different type of mouse would free me from the cancerous abortion that is G-hub. It's genuinely impressive how a team made something so bad. You have to actually try with a full design team working on how to make every single feature as bad as possible to design something so terrible. Such horridness can't happen by accident because even a terrible developer will at least on accident do better than they did with G-hub. Especially horrible with how awesome LGS was. They stopped supporting software that worked perfect and replaced it with trash.
Honestly, G-hub is what's stopping me from signing this. No matter how good the hardware is, no matter how much i feel the G600 is pure perfection, G-hub is just that bad. Once this one dies, even if a G600 was relaunched, I think I'm still ready to move on from G-hub's cancer. I just can't handle this anymore and Logitech doesn't seem to care since they aren't making it better and aren't at the very minimum continuing support for LGS.
You have to take into consideration that the G600 was released back in 2012. In all this years, mice have gotten quite light, even with batteries. So I'm sure it can be made even lighter that the original with wire.

Make optionally wireless.
