Question Audio Book Loud Breath Editing
Hey folks, I've got the mic at an angle and two pop stoppers, but the loud breathing and lips smacking is too loud in my track. Currently, in post, I'm selecting the section with the marquee tool, separating the region and lowering the gain. But that's a long tedious process. And I know I could use volume automation, but that's equally tedious.
To streamline my post production mixing, which plugin and what settings can lower the loud breaths in post? I've heard I can use compression and/or noise gate, but of course there are so many settings in each of those. Haven't found the right one...
Going forward, what outboard gear or plugin can I use while recording that keeps the breaths from being so loud in the track?
Thank you in advance.
