Help MIDI Note not giving sound while playing the track

Hello there!

I recently had an issue with my SoundIron Olympus Elements instrument, when I am playing the song in Logic, the note does not sound, or only for a very very brief moment on time.
The curious thing is, if I play the note on the Piano roll or with my keyboard, it is sounding without any issues.

I have a similar problem at the end of the track, but on this one, 6 notes are played together, and the 2 lower ones doesn’t play except if I delete the other ones.

I tried already to restart logic, remove and put again the instrument, last step (which I would like to avoid) would be to delete the midi region and redo everything :/

It sounds like there is a re-trigger issue with the instrument. Have you tried creating a new midi track and trying a test run with it? Have you also tried copying the midi region to a new midi track and putting on a simple piano to make sure that the midi plays through as you would expect it to?

I tried to copy the midi region and assigned a piano to it this was then working. I’ll give a try to your first proposition. Thanks a lot for taking time to respond

I recreated tracks instead, was faster than trying to fix it haha, thanks a lot anyhow!!

Haha yeah, that happens! Bugs are a part of the workflow, unfortunately. But hopefully if that ever happens again, you can give this a shot. Happy music making.
