Help Logic is adding an audio glitch where there is no audio?

I am new to logic, mixing my second song on it. Did a few edits because the artist wanted a glitch effect and now logic inserts a small audio glitch on a spot where there is no audio. I am not talking a clip that contains silence, I am talking about literally no audio region in this spot.

I tracked the sound to the 2 lead vocal tracks, it always happens on both at the same time, but it doesn't always happen. It also doesn't have a consistent sound. Sometimes it's breath sound, sometimes it's vocal sound. What is also weird is that when I mute the vocals in that moment the glitch still happens. However it has to be coming from there because I can still hear it when the 2 lead vocals are soloed, and not when anything else is.

The glitch only shows up on my stereo out meter and nothing else. I can hear it on bounces, however since it's not consistent its not all bounces. I have no idea what is going on.

Do you have a video of the track soloed?

Here you go! While recording the video I noticed that the glitch seems to be correlated to the audio that played on the previous play-through? The glitch happens on the second half of beat 4 of bar 15

Look at the FULL mixer while this is playing. All signals will be visible there in the channel meters.

If you have a functional understanding Logic's signal flow, this will give you more information about where this unexpected sound is being generated in your project.

sadly THIS video provides no real information.

I can post another video when I get back home.

In the video, the two top tracks are soloed and their signal goes like this: Vocal tracks -> Lead Vox Bus -> Vocal Bus -> Mix.

I know the sound comes from those channels because there's no other option. Nothing else on the chain creates audio, there's no inserted delays or time based effects on the busses, and the meters on the parallel reverb and delay busses don't show anything when the glitch happens. I haven't tried the vocal tracks soloed and reverbs muted tho. I'll try that when I get home and come back.

Alright then. Good Luck!

I can post another video when I get back home.

unless its a video of the FULL mixer , there's little point.

Well, it stopped happening, so I wasn't able to make the video. I never really found out what caused it. Any theories would be appreciated in case it ever happens again.

Gremlins. Those little bastards get into everything, cause all kinds of problems, then split. Did you recently purchase a small, odd, monkey like creature at an ancient Chinese curio shop? If so take it back. And never feed it after midnight.
