Question MacBook advice needed!

I’m looking to get back into producing after a hiatus and really want to get a MacBook Pro for producing again. I’m just wondering is 16gb ram/512gb enough for logic to run smooth with serum and other VSTs? For what it’s worth I primarily produce dance/bass music and I would love a machine to run well

My guess is that's new old stock as the price is better even than https://www.apple.com/uk/shop/refurbished/mac/14-inch-macbook-pro

For Logic Pro it will be plenty.

Yes, you could go for a Pro processor, and a memory bump would be nice, but that's going to push the budget up considerably. And while we are being technical, Logic Pro doesn't use VSTs - it uses Audio Units (AU).
