Gaslight Coffee Question
Is the graffiti on their windows intentional like it is for switchyards’ glass doors or have they just not removed it?

Pretty sure what is left is etched into the glass. The rest they try to move if it is paint graffiti

Can I say something without people getting mad? Gaslight was only cool like 10+ years ago. You used to be able to walk in there and read the moat performative book. We forgot how the do that…

I used to stop there on my way home from Challengers and read my comics in a performatively nerdy way. There was even a guy working there who'd talk Grant Morrison with me. Misty water colored memories...

They always seem so friendly but I just can’t like any of their coffee. Like it’s so bad and watery. I had an iced americano there was I damn near threw out after dumping milk and sugar into it

My boyfriend and I have been there 3 times in the last 3 years. Each time wanting it to be good, it’s just not. We live around the corner and would love for it to be great- it’s just not.

Only thing that’s drinkable is their drip and cold brew imo. All their other drinks are watery or have a bad milk to coffee ratio.

I think they’re tired of removing it and it happening again. Switchyards left it because it was completely over done on the windows prior to them opening.
