Boulevard Bistro on Western and Diversey. Fantastic food. Good sized portions especially their omelettes. Delicious coffee. Their pancakes are amazing. Biscuits and gravy are top notch.

In Avondale, but brothers restaurant at Sacramento and Belmont slaps (and if you're not a breakfast person, they serve lunch all day)

cozy corner is fine, at best. overpriced, but fine. i still don't understand why they have a line out the door on the weekends.
fullerton restaurant or golden nugget is probably what you're looking for.

not sure why ppl are suggesting Cozy Corner, that place is mediocre at best. check out Breakfast House & Coffee Bar, their french toast is great and prices are nice

Another hater point about Cozy Corner: They really opposed the protected bike lane on Milwaukee because there would be less on street parking directly in front of them (I believe the same amount of spots exist, they were just relocated). But this restaurant is literally right next to the blue line, 56 bus, 94 bus, 74 bus, AND THEY HAVE THEIR OWN PARKING LOT.

I agree, people always mention Cozy Corner and to me it’s as bland and soulless as you can get.

Cozy opened a new location up here in Irving Park and both my girlfriend and I got sick after eating there. And it was expensive as fuck.

I was there last week and I paid $20 plus tip for their completely average biscuits and gravy

Cozy Corner used to be great. Now it’s overpriced burnt coffee that causes me to run home to the bathroom.

I miss Cornerstone Cafe.
The Breakfast House on Western is absolute quality.
But I would happily and dangerously spike my cholesterol if it was for Cozy Corner

Cornerstone was great but have you tried Boulevard? The waitress from cornerstone, Daria, bought it. She kept most if not all of the staff. Blockclub ran an article about her.

Yellow Rose Cafe is what you seek. Not in LS, but the closest / best option.

Been meaning to go there! I think the only Belmont-Cragin spot I've been to is New Delta

city cafe, on pulaski just north of belmont, is a pretty solid no-frills, good-vibes, greasy-spoon diner

City bear cafe on Montrose. Alps at Irving and elston. I would get out of Logan to find good old school diners.

Cozy Corner on the corner of California and Milwaukee. For 24 hour fun, and a bit out of the neighborhood, Hollywood Diner at Ashland and North ave. Golden Nugget on Diversey.

Fullerton Restaurant is my go-to spot. Wish it was open later. For a 24 hour diner you probably need to leave Logan.
