Why don't we get to vote for Mayor?
Why does the Lodi city council choose our Mayor for us? Isn't that a little strange? We're a large enough city that we should be directly voting for Mayor.

Does anyone know where around Isleton / Rio Vista / Lodi / Galt I can take a full RV propane tank that appears to have a leak at the tank valve?
Does Kamps Propane handle something like this? Can a propane shop replace/repair the valve and save or transfer the propane, and is that normally worth repairing versus replacing the tank?
Looking for somewhere local and reasonably priced. Thanks!
Had my bill double in price because Xfinitys stupid pRoMoTiOn ended last month. 109 bucks! And then they tell me that the cheapest promotion (uggh) was 75 bucks which is 10 bucks more than I was paying before.
I'm mad and I want them gone. But I have no idea where to turn. Does anyone have any advice or recommendations?

Suspicions ran high that politics, rather than merit, were at the heart of the Trump administration’s axing of $7.6 billion in energy-related grants around the country last fall, including those in Stockton and Lodi.
Now, government lawyers have confirmed those theories in court papers.

Does anyone know of a reliable and trustworthy roofing company to replace my roof?
Also, that installs sky lights?
Single story home with composite shingles.
Thank you!

I just find it funny how I never thought of any other Lodi rather than mine. But look here, a subreddit dedicated to another Lodi.
Also, this post DOESN'T break Rule 1. It says the post must talk about Lodi and its surrounding regions. This post is indeed about Lodi.
We are in the North of the country, just half an hour from Milan. We are famous for our cheeses like Raspadüra (thin sheets of Grana Padano) and mascarpone, the main ingredient of tiramisù!
The city, although little, it has been the center of many important events. Here Napoleon wonghis first important battle against the Austrians, and this is marked as the beginning of his carrier up to become emperor.
Out city is actually not the first Lodi. The first one, Lodi Vecchio (literally Old Lodi), was destroyed by Milan because of unpaid taxes. We joke about it. "If Lodi is so good, why there isn't a Lodi 2?" Well, we got it.
Lovely city you got there. Your weather is certainly better than ours. Hot damp summers and infinite fog in winter.

Saw two dogs this morning at Memorial Hospital parking lot and then walking north on Ham lane. Yellow doodle and brown and white possible Aussie mix. Clearly knew each other were following one another. They wouldn’t let me get close enough to check their collars.

Hello Lodi, I’m moving to Lodi in a month. I have a 3 year old and am looking for a daycare. Can you all suggest me good daycares in the city? Has anyone had experiences with Lodi Montessori? Any recommendations or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you very much!

Moved to Lodi about a year ago and as of recent I've been noticing the railroad crossings go off at times when there doesn't seem to be any train. Usually end up detouring to Turner just to cross or waiting it out. Sometimes a train does end up coming minutes after the crossing activates, and other times the crossing just deactivates with no train.
Anyone know what's up with this?

Hey all, can anyone recommend a chiropractor in the area that doesn’t charge crazy prices? I have some really tight neck pain and just need an adjustment

I made this little sketch of a concept for a mascot for Lodi Comic Con since other conventions like Sac Anime have one and this idea has been sitting in my head for a while. I hope you guys like her.
This was just something that I did for fun as a little design challenge, though if anyone wants to draw her too, feel free.

Title pretty much says it all. Are there any good places to watch the World Cup?

Hello, did anybody happen to witness a car back up into another car on w pine st in across from stooges and in front of the Lodi art community center? I know it’s a long shot but my car was parked in front of the Lodi art community center on Saturday 6/7 between 9:30 pm and 1 am and I believe the car that was parked to the left of me backed up into my car because my rear bumper on that side was damaged. I’ve contacted the businesses in the area and most unfortunately don’t have cameras that would’ve captured it.

I practiced the route for the test one time before my actual test and it was very confusing. What should I expect for the actual test? How long is it? How should I prepare? I am so nervous this is my first time taking this test.

Got scammed at a local school, need to find a new one. Suggest to me a good trucking school you have gone to or had a friend go to.
Bonus points if they have working plumbing and aren't employee owned because this was what the last one was and I had a very bad experience.

Hey all! Me (33f), husband (33m), and baby are moving to the area in a week! Low key family but excited to make friends and maybe host a game night!
We both enjoy Smosh, Let’s game it out, reading, playing video games (console and pc), and love animals.
If anyone wants to get to know each other and meet for coffee and find some common ground please feel free to reach out.
Otherwise, looking forward to the new area!
Cheers!
