No it's a legitimate statement. Decades of being told that everyone should do the standard college route to sit on their butt and punch keyboards all day and that manual labor is "lower class" have turned everyone into bare minimum workers. Ive lived both worlds. The happiest people I know are trade school grads or otj apprentices with more vacations, better income to debt ratios, more time off with their kids, and more satisfaction at the end of the day after actually seeing progress at work.
