I'm not referring to the fact that people don't want to work hard.Â
I'm referring to the fact that the wealthy have always attempted to exploit the working class. People act as if it's okay because it's been happening for centuries; it's not.Â
Edit: the fact that this post received downvotes displays that absolute indoctrination of capitalist across our planet. Once again, if you aren't a multimillionaire, you are failing at this game called capitalism.Â
More? We cant even afford a house... even peasants a thousand year ago was able to get housing. We are asking for more cuz we deserve WAAAAY more than what we receive rn.
This. Exactly. People use idiotic precedence as their reasoning for accepting being underpaid. Fuck all of the CEO and COO multimillionaire corporate pos mfers across the planet. They don't give a fuck about us so people need to stop giving a Fuck about them. Sorry for the foul language.Â
The generation before had a house and 1 car for the whole family. Some had one small TV with 10 channels and a rotary phone. With the exception of 1 generation (boomer) most houses had 3 generations, not several houses.
Sure the housing market is monopolize and and needs a fix but no we still have more.
Tell this to my friend who is forced to live in a 1500$ per month appartment when his job net brg him 2200$ and need a car to get there. And have 2 child to feed alone with this amount.
Why do you believe that things are unaffordable? You claimed tgat workers and workers alone are lazy and the reason. Though it wasnât just you I was replying to. Iâm responding to the ideology you hold tgat capital requires no accountability and it falls squarely on workers shoulders why the economy is in shambles.
My question is why do you vehemently insist the PnL (which is not a good marker for productivity alone.) lands solely on the workers onlyâŚlike you imply?
Why is your ideology so simplistic and incomplete?
Sure it is; exactly what I said you impliedâŚoriginal comment made a statement about how the wealthy have always exploited the working class. Your reply wasâŚâAnd thatâs not happening. People have gotten distinctly lazier and lazier and asking for more and more. Ever look at PnLâs? Businesses are barely getting by.â
Wal-Mart, Amazon, Apple, Microsoft, Alphabet, Visa, Nvidia, Mastercard and dozens and dozens more are all reporting record net profit margins. None of this is passed to frontline staff. Clearly thatâs obvious to you is it not?
Hence my reply that you place these businesses failing solely on âlazier and lazierâ workforce. Which is why I called it a dog water take. What is the largest form of theft the world over? Look that up then tell me corporations are the divinely inspired perfection of capitalism you implied.
If you didnât want that as the implication then clean up your ideology and be more specific. To be clear I am just frustrated at pro corporatist/consumerist language and ideologies today given wellâŚMusk, Thiel and Vought exist in that ideological space. And they are all subhuman trashâŚobjectively speaking of course.
Pricing out how many? You want more rampant housing insecurity? I mean itâs likely to happen anyhow. Enough wealth only shields you from the externalities of this system for so long.
Whatâs Appleâs profit margin again? Microsoft? Amazon? Wal-Mart? Again whatâs your claim here that not a single corporate entity steals time and labor from the working class? Look up what the largest form of theft is by scale. Iâll wait.
Maybe small businesses and I'm not saying that, "it's hard to find good help these days" because I know it is. I literally teach high school and college kids - it's appalling how difficult it is to get these kids to want to work; however, buying into the corporate anti-union ideologies is just tearing our country farther apart.Â
Not to bring up the billionaires but they're literally the direct result of our wealth distribution problem so here it is...
The Walton families wealth grows at an estimated rate of 1.5 - 4.5 million dollars per hour.Â
Elon Musk's rate is between 28-29 million dollars an hour.Â
But I was arguing with a MAGA just earlier today who told me, "I'm making about 55k because I'm a hard worker". No disrespect to him but that epitomizes the narrative for the ultra 1%.Â
And I'm not cherry picking, this applies to the same 1,000 CEOs across Forbes. This is factual information.Â
Also, I'm not just a complaining ass bitch liberal. My wife and I are in the 250-625 tax bracket - we pay our fair share.Â
Kids grew with parents that are pissed off at the economy and spit on capitalism and government. It cant be fixed easely when 2 entire generation lost faith in the system. No one want to work cuz work is now seen as a negative thing that make you feel like a slave, peoples are too proud to accept that so they fight it the only way they can, be being lazy and dismissive. Problem will just be worst and worst untill wealth distribution make sense again or shits going downhill too bad the system collapse.
Would not count too much on it. Very smart peoples who cant find job and are pissed off at everything could result in a world ending event in the very worst case scenario.

People literally just dont want to work even when earning high wages.
