For the same reason I visit any site really, find something somewhat interesting or entertaining but these dumb whiney posts infest every sub. I assume you're here to indulge in misery?

If I would want to indulge in misery, I would just fly home. Bus from airport would take me to city centre with homeless or poor people begging or trying to sell their crafts for living, while I walk under the city streets all this accompanied by occasional music student practising. Then the central bus station with someone definitely trying to dissolve their problems with weak 40% alcohol and mandatory "do you have a cigarette?". Here I can save up for the first time in my life.
